   We made this reservation 1 week in advance in preparation for the Marine Marathon because of the varied menu. However, upon arrival we were notified that there was a fixed menu becaise of the marathon with NO pasta options or vegetarian options. These options weren't what we expected when we reviwed the menu prior to booking. We had to leave and scavenge food elsewere.

   Slow service from disengaged server. Salad was drowning in dressing.

   Had lunch there today. Pretty generic/anemic chicken sandwich, and salad seemed like it came from one of those pre-made bags. I'd stick with HH and their fine bourbon and scotch menu.

   Food was great. Service was abysmal, awful, and any other negative adjective you can fill in here. We waited a long time for anyone to approach our table. We were pleased to learn that Happy Hour was still in effect for the next 25 minutes. It took a long time for our drinks to arrive. Hot appetizers were served at room temperature. No staff member returned to our table (except to deliver food) the entire 2 hours we were there without me asking for someone to stop by. I had to clear the appetizer plates from our table. I had to get up and find a staff member to take our dinner order. I had to get up to get our check. Such good food but so many mistakes by a poorly trained and managed staff will mean that it will be a long time before we return if ever.

   We booked a table for two inside but ended up sitting at the bar during Happy Hour and just stayed at the bar. We each ordered pizza which was excellent. The guy sitting next to us was eating deviled eggs topped with jalapeños which looked amazing. Our server/bartender was delightful, friendly and attentive. There is also plenty of outdoor seating. We will absolutely eat there again. Close to Rosslyn metro. Near Colonial Village. For location reference.

   This is my third time coming to this restaurant because I really do enjoy the food. However, the service was the worst I’ve ever had this particular time and I brought a new friend with me. So it was quite disappointing because I bragged about it previously to her so much. My octopus and lobster Mac was cold when it was brought out. No one came to our table to check on us once we received our food. I had to get up to ask for things several times, including containers to go and the check.

   I went for their brunch experience, and it was amazing! Sam, the manager, was very nice and attentive. He informed us that they were short staff, but he would be helping out as well. I love it when managers don't hide in the office. The bar manager, Manny, was very nice, and she created their entire drink menu. I tried the raspberry mule and paloma, which were both delicious. Along with the great service was great food. Try the goat cheese pizza and bacon jam burger with truffle fries. You will not be disappointed!

    Really enjoyed the terrific chicken wings (some of the best in the city). I enjoyed the Southwestern Salad, which had a nice chicken breast and fresh vegetables. My guest enjoyed the French Dip, which is always excellent comfort food. The service was responsive and friendly.
