At Baro, we strive to bring you the unique flavours of South America that are inspired by the Latin kitchens of coastal countries from Colombia to Argentina. Our team brings you plates that are inspired from traditional dishes that have a unique spin on them, creating something entirely on it’s own.

It was a pleasant brunch. Booked to celebrate a friends birthday. They were thoughtful enough to have a Happy birthday card for my friend and a tres leches tiny dessert with candles and happy birthday sign on the house. Patrick our server gamely sang a Spanish song for my friend. Martini Espresso and Blood orange mojito are good. Starters, we ordered humus dip with chips are the best. I Ordered the Cubano which was so filling! I forgot what my friend ordered but we both finished our food. Price point was on the pricey side for everything, from the cocktails (22$,)starters(19$) and entrees (high 20ish $). As I have mentioned food is filling, is there anything extra ordinary, not really. They do have an all you can drink mimosa for $24, for those who want a bottomless drink. Extra chips was $8 which is way more than what was served from our starters, the hummus was a lot which was great. Spent $140 for two people for this birthday brunch before tips. Overall, service from Patrick was simply one of the best!

Food and cocktails were delicious, you could tell the food is made with quality ingredients. Our server was lovely, attentive and knowledgeable. We went on a Monday evening so it was quiet. The ambience is cozy but elegant. Only thing to note was our entrees came out at different times so my friend was waiting for my entree to come out for a while so we could eat together. Great night overall !

Server was friendly and attentive. Did not delay in getting the bill to us when we asked.

Food was sooooo good. Had the charred Jalapeño hummus and it was the best take on hummus, I have ever had. Great service. Drinks were also delish. Will be back for sure!!

Food was good. Service was bad, the first waitress was very short and not welcoming at all. Then, we waited an hour for our APPETIZERS. Once we said something, they were brought out shortly and my partner and I agreed that it must’ve been just a mistake. But then, when we got our bill, the waiter automatically added a 22% tip without us deciding for ourselves how much to give them. Horrible service and I would not go back.

Food was very salty and burned especially for the duck fried rice. Definitely don’t recommend anyone coming here. All of their washrooms had issues either with the handle or no hand soap or not flushed. Came here because there were a lot of positive reviews but unfortunately food was very subpar. One of the server dropped a spoon on my partner’s drink but didn’t even offer her for another drink.

Would give it 4.5/5 Amazing service, spacious environment and good food. The first floor was a bit too noisy so we opted for the rooftop. However, there was a problem with their air circulation where every few minutes, instead of warm air, cold air would be blown from the ceiling. There was also a leak either in the roofs or the pipes as there were droplets of water dripping on us throughout the night. The food was really good though especially the duck. Some choices were better than others, for example there was nothing to write home about the ceviche and the chicken in my opinion. Our waitress was super nice and friendly and made the whole experience enjoyable.
