   Excellent food and ambiance. Small tables. Hard to have enough space for food and glasses etc with four seated.

   We were the first guests in the restaurant and from the start, it felt very slow. Took a long time to get the salads out prior to the entree. The steaks were over cooked and dry. And honestly for the price this “steakhouse” charges - it wasn’t worth it. Very disappointed.

   The Chardonnay Chicken and Pesto Chicken were excellent and the portions are generous. My husband liked his ribeye too. Atmosphere is nice although it is in a hotel near the pool so you can smell the pool in certain areas. The restaurant side is pricey, especially for not being in a large city, but the food is worth the splurge for a special occasion, in my opinion. Service was not great the first time we went, but the second time it was perfect. I would recommend, and we will return.

   We had a very nice dinner. The ambiance added to the experience. Portions were large and the food was very good! We will be back.

   Chose to try Barons and made a reservation for 815 pm. They called at 8:10 pm to let us know they were out of steaks, and most everything. They said they could only do burgers and pasta or salad. Pretty disappointing phone call to get as we were arriving. Since we had just arrived in the parking lot when they called and we'd just driven 5 hours from Wichita plus being a Saturday night we knew getting into another steakhouse would be difficult so we decided to go in and just see what they did have. Turns out there's a fine dining side and a sports bar side. After the host apologized he compared this to Popeyes running out of chicken lol. A steakhouse running out of steak on a Saturday night at 8 pm seems crazy. We found out they did have some steak just none of the big steaks like porterhouse, filets, etc. We settled on Salmon & Chicken fried steak plus the candy bacon appetizer.. They would not allow any substitutions on your side's and force you to buy an additional side if you want something different. My salmon meal was already pricey at $35 so I chose to forgo the baked potato I wanted sadly. It came with rice pilaf and asparagus. I was pleasantly surprised the asparagus was cooked really well. It's sad though that it was the highlight of our meal. The chicken fried steak came with asparagus and mashed potatoes. We also shared a house salad. While the food was cooked perfectly it certainly was bland. I'd really suggest they look into using some salt, pepper, and garlic at a minimum in the future...maybe some accent for flavor? The candied bacon was an impressive show and delivery, tasted really good, but was like eating beef jerky. It was probably the 2nd highlight of the meal of the night but was very hard to eat. Service was decent, servers were nice and attentive. In the end, our bill was just over $106 with a $20 tip added on top. Was it worth it for the money? For me, no definitely not worth it.

   Well cooked steak but lacking seasoning and flavor. Inattentive service. Cheesy music playing in the dining room that sounds like you’re on hold on the phone. The macaroni and cheese was made with nacho cheese and lacked flavor. Very overpriced with prices similar to elite steakhouses in bigger cities which this was not. Highlight was “the well” bacon appetizer which is prepared table side.

   My only criticism is pancakes have no flavor..they need some jazz. Other than that food is exceptional

    Reservation is not a must but advised..service was class act and food speaks for itself. I have tried several things and I have not been disappointed in anything .it is a little pricey but well worth it. Everything is homeade
