   Brought our family of 5 for a birthday celebration dinner. Each of us made different meal selections. All of our food was beyond excellent. I don’t believe I’ve ever had a better dinner. Can’t speak highly enough about Barringer’s. Although there are many places to experience really good food in Door County, Barringer’s is now top on my list of best places to eat. Thanks for making our evening so special! We’ll be back.

   The prompt and attentive service throughout our dining experience - without ever feeling rushed in anything - was a real standout, especially since the restaurant was at near capacity for a Friday evening dinner. All of our menu items were well prepared, the lobster bisque was especially good.

   Ordered the ribeye. Lots of gristly parts of the steak. Ordered the blackened version, but was told it was only the blackening seasoning; interesting but not near as flavorful as proper blackening. Paid $2 more for that. Paid $50 for the steak, so that was a bit much, considering the quality of the meat. Ambiance was great, really loved being by the fireplace. Waiter was very good. Prompt and pleasant. Will visit again but will not get the steak.

   We hosted our son and his girlfriend for dinner as they do not often get up to Door County. We wanted a quality experience and got it and then some. We were promptly seated, and the service staff members were attentive but not intrusive. Highly recommend the Dirty Blue Door Martini. The first course, oysters, lobster bisque, and salad were well presented and quite delicious. The main selections were two different steaks cooked to perfection and salmon and crab cakes. All wonderfully prepared. If you are looking for a special meal at a special place, put Barringers on your list.

    Our waiter Camille was amazing -it was my bday dinner and he made it so special for us. Excellent service, food was so flavorful and large portions and presentation was beautiful. 12 out of 10 highly recommend
