Barrio Queen is the best restaurant in Phoenix for authentic Mexican food and craft cocktails. One of our favorite spots....especially the patio. The food is consistently good and service is great! The music on Sunday's is nice; however, last night the band was so loud we couldn't hear each other or the wait staff. No need to have it that loud for a small patio with dinner guests (not a bar). It was quite painful and may make us think again of coming if there is a live band.

Once again, our party of four had a terrific time seated outside. Margaritas were expertly made, as was the table side prepared guacamole. The Barrio nachos made our day. We always look for an opportunity to return.

It’s always an amazing experience! Best place to go for skinny margaritas and tacos. Not to mention the chips and salsa 💃 The music, the employees, the atmosphere. Top five favorite place in Desert Ridge/ Scottsdale area.

Patio was fantastic. Service was good. Food was ok. Not a lot of flavor. Chips were really hard. Salsa was good. Happy hour pricing is great. Very expensive otherwise.

We were seated in the main dining room. Our waitress was the only server handling all of the tables in the main dining room. She was amazing but because she was waiting on a ridiculous number of tables it took forever to get our drinks and food. The food was good as usual but it may be awhile before we visit again.

Delicious food, servers have been very good to me each time I've dined there. A little noisy during busy hours but I was still well taken care of.

Great experience. We went through n for their Valentines special but discovered it was different from what we had seen online. We were disappointed as items we particularly wanted were not on the menu. The server apologized for the difference. Shortly thereafter, Brian the manager came over and again apologized. He comped the guacamole (a house special) and allowed us to get the dessert we had wanted. We hadn’t continued to complain after the first discussion with the server. They could have ignored it but instead went above and beyond.
