The mild salsa for chips was too spicy. The chips dry with no flavor. The pork in the Arizona burrito was very tender and tasty. Too many better places to go

I loved my salad and I would’ve enjoyed the taco more if the blue corn tortilla hadn’t gotten all mushy

Well..........Not the best experience for sure. This is the first time that we have been to THIS Barrio Queen location and let's just say it lacks some huge quality control. The one at Desert Ridge and the one downtown are much better! The service was meh (we got to listen to what a rough day our server had because people were not being nice to her; something perhaps that should not have been shared with us). The food was sent back from two of the four of us because it was cold (as in the cheese wasn't melted at all in the middle). It was pretty quiet in the restaurant as a whole, but they were still obviously short staffed. Overall, I think we'll stay with the Desert Ridge location.

It was fine. Sorta like a mexican chili's. The churros were phenomenal cuz they had applie pie filling (albeit maybe not authentic lol). My issue is they overcharged me and i didnt notice cuz i was reuniting with family. They charged me for happy hour margaritas and full price margaritas on the same bill. Good for them, they got away with it, but im disappointed i have to be that critical.

Hae been wanting to go here but always ended up at our regular Mexican Restaurant. Finally made it and loved it.

We went for restaurant week Lunch. The offerings at Barrio Queen included either a house margarita or a flight of 3 margarita flavors. All of the entrees were ordered as there were 3 of us in the party and we enjoyed each one. The table side guacamole, custom built to your preference by Colton is a special touch. Churros are an excellent desert to finish the meal. Recommend.

Really nice dinner here. Greeted and seated on the outdoor patio which to me is the only way to go. Beautiful evening to eat outdoors. Started with margaritas which were not overly sweet and very refreshing. I chose the restaurant week special which was a great value. I had the guacamole starter and my fiancé the roasted sweet corn on the cob. Mains were the enchilada trio and beef chimichanga. Both plentiful and delicious. Just enough spice! For dessert we shared a flan which unlike many I’ve had in the past, was a little chunky which I really enjoyed! Our server was great, keeping everything at a comfortable pace.
