The service was bad and took a long time to order, get food and check. The food has slipped in quality.

Barrio Queen used to be my “go to” for good Mexican food at a moderate price. I know you can always expect a somewhat disappointing experience at any restaurant, if you go often. However; this was the second time in the last three visits, that either the food or service was not good. This time everyone’s food was lukewarm AT BEST. The waiter we had was exceptional, and was very apologetic that the food came out that way. We ate what we could of the barely warm food, and thanked him for caring. We will not be back, maybe drive a little further and go to the downtown Gilbert location?

The corn ribs are amazing!! Everyone at the table loved them even the kids that said they didn't like corn! 🌽
