   We love dining at Basil’s. The food is excellent, our favorite is the Greek Lemon Chicken, and the staff is outstanding. We ask for Enrique as our server. When you dine, you will always see familiar faces, so you know it is a favorite for many.

   Great food, cocktails, and service. Recommend the baklava old fashioned. The lamb is domestic and was excellent, as were the dolmades and mousaka.

   The ambiance is very nice…date night type! I had the Mediterranean Sea Bass and it was awesome! The cocktails are very good and the service was outstanding. Maggie is a great manager and works the crowd and seems to assist her very capable staff whenever and where ever needed. Basils is becoming our go to place!

   Really enjoyed our valentines dinner at Basils. We were seated on time and our server was attentive. Service was a little slow but this was not a problem as we were not in a hurry and didn’t want to feel rushed. Saganaki appetizer, two orders of lollipop lamb chops and lemon chicken were all excellent. Cocktails were good as well. Thank you for another great dinner.

   Food was excellent, service was outstanding. We were seated in a small back room instead of the main dining room, even though I had made reservations a month ahead of time. The main room is much prettier.

   Basil’s is home away from home. Staff treats you like family. You don’t see that often these days. Food is always excellent.

   It’s sad when they have a special Incentive program and you get there & the waitstaff either don’t know or tell you you’re late-until you show them their promotion. Also you ask a question about a dish and it turns out they gave you the wrong information that they admit to, but don’t make it right. Not sure what’s going on with them these days.

   We dined at Basil’s to celebrate our 1st date 22 years ago at this restaurant when it was Lorenzo’s. Different name but the ambiance is the same, the service and food still very good. Elvia greeted us warmly and showed us to a reserved table with a beautiful flower arrangement to make it special. The menu was printed special with “Happy Anniversary.” Our server was Nicholas who we came to find out has been at the restaurant for 25 years, before our 1st date. We chatted about people we knew years ago. Nicolas provided attentive great service. He brought us complimentary champagne in recognition of our celebration, too. My husband ordered the baklava old fashioned, which was a tasty cocktail. Need to get that for myself next time. We shared the grilled octopus appetizer, which was a large tentacle perfectly grilled on a bed of arugula. So good. We each had a bowl of the avegolemono soup next. My favorite! My only complaint is that I can never enjoy the bread as it’s sesame seed crusted. I really wish they would offer the same bread without the seeds as an alternative. It’s the only negative as I can’t do nuts/seeds. For dinner, we each had the Mediterranean Combo. I had the petite lamb kebobs and lamb meatballs with Greek potatoes. The kabobs were seasoned well but cooked too well done for me. I like lamb cooked medium rare, but they still were delish. The meatballs were amazing and the Greek potatoes were lemony good. My husband enjoyed his combo of dolmades (stuffed grape leaves) and spanakopita (spinach pie) with Greek potatoes. To end the meal we shared the Galaktobouriko, a baked orange custard in phyllo dough. Oh yum! We had such a wonderful evening. Basil’s always makes it special for us and we never miss going on February 1st of every year. I made sure to let Elvia know just how much their efforts meant to us. I definitely recommend Basil’s for any occasion or a date night or a summer night on the patio.

    We enjoyed our visit to Basils! Food was great, service was right on and atmosphere was romantic. Will definitely eat here again.
