   My husband and I went to Bask Steakhouse in Roswell for his birthday dinner last night. The space is absolutely gorgeous, and really sets the mood for a memorable meal. Our server was Alexander, who is also the wine captain. He is so knowledgeable, and perfectly attentive without ever being intrusive. Our drinks, appetizers, entrees, and dessert were all outstanding. As a steakhouse, the menu is obviously meat-centric, and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his wagyu and lobster. I’m a vegetarian, and was pleasantly surprised that they have a vegan filet on the menu, which was delicious. Bask is definitely a splurge, but a wonderful experience for a special occasion!

   Start to finish this was the best meal we’ve had. We started with the raw oysters and elk carpaccio followed by the steak flight for two with scallops and mushrooms followed up by the cinnamon roll bread pudding. Only complaint was on our steak flight the spinalis came out medium to well and we had ordered medium rare- the other two cuts were perfect so we didn’t bother to send it back however I would’ve loved to try the spinalis medium rare, I’m sure it’s fantastic. Our server Alexander was attentive and well versed on the wines and menu. He made my birthday dinner an experience to remember!

   Had a wonderful time celebrating my father's birthday. We started off with the elk carpaccio and burrata (pictured); both delicious. My husband and I shared the steak tasting (pictured), which was phenomenal. My favorite was the Wagyu followed by the spinalis then the filet. My parents had the 8 ounce fillet and we all shared mashed potatoes, seafood mac & cheese, broccolini, and carrots. My husband who hates carrots, actually love them! We finished the meal with cinnamon bun bread pudding, which was the perfect ending to a great meal. It was so good that I texted a couple of my mom group texts to tell them about it (about 40 women). My husband and I agree it’s our new favorite steak place (more than Oak, Little Alley).

   The service was impeccable, and the food was delicious. My only issue, and I hate to report it, is the noise level. We couldn't hear each other to have good conversations. It would be nice to have some absorbers to help with that.

    This place can go toe to toe with any steakhouse in Atlanta. It’s our go to for celebrations. The hostess and staff is always accommodating. The food is consistent, prepared with perfection, and of the highest quality. We are always looking forward to the next excuse to visit. Save room for dessert, decadent, but worth the calories 😉-
