Bastion is the 24-seat restaurant of James Beard Foundation Award Nominee Chef Josh Habiger. It is located in a separate area within the casual cocktail bar of the same name, and it is a part of the Wedgewood Houston neighborhood of Nashville, TN. Bastion's dining room features counter seating around the kitchen for parties of 2 as well as three tables for parties of 3 to 6. Bastion's small team serves a weekly set menu of six dinner courses featuring many dishes with a wide variety of flavors, ingredients, and inspirations. Friendly service guides you through the culinary experience, which also features wine pairings, creative cocktails, and a curated vinyl soundtrack. Come early or stay late in the hidden Little Bar, which is a private offering for guests of the restaurant.

    Excellent food, service, an atmosphere. If you enjoy artistically crafted tasting menus, this is the place. I cannot recommend the wine pairings enough - they were perfect with each course.

    Probably one of our best experiences of dining in Nashville. A fixed six course menu with several selections with each course. Great service and great food.

    Wonderful experience. My Bastion reservation was the centerpoint of my weekend in Nashville and it did not disappoint. The caviar on puffed beef tendon was a 10/10 flavor explosion and the plantain chess pie was the perfect finish.

    I made reservations a month out for my wedding anniversary surprise dinner. Reservation making was easy and smooth, the deposit and price were all extremely worth it, the food was by far the star of the show, the wine pairings elevated the experience and complimented the courses beautifully. The ability to interact with the chefs while sitting at the bar highlighted their passion of the dishes they created. The exclusivity of dining in an intimate setting was perfect for conversation with my wife and guests around us.

    Amazing Chefs! amazing food! We were stuck behind a train afraid of missing the reservation & the host directed us through streets to get there! Everyone working here was great!
