I’ve eaten at Batifol at least four times, and the service gets worse each time. We had to ask multiple times for the same things and even had to track someone down just to get our check—only to find our waitress in the back refilling ketchup bottles. The Sunday steak special is a great deal, but the service makes it more frustrating than it’s worth.

Went with a party of 6 during Brunch. Inside the restaurant is pretty, it's like downtown meets uptown French restaurant. I also feel $38 for all you can eat brunch is not bad especially since they seem to use high quality foods - brie cheese, salmon, etc. However, the food was overall not bad....just underwhelming taste wise. Eggs were watery too. Also, I feel like they could have more options. Only 2 people in the group liked their food but they ordered food that wasn't part of brunch, one ordered the steak and fries and the other the burger. Wouldn't go out of my way to come back again.

It was a great experience. The place is beautiful and organized, but it was a bit noisy. Service was excellent. Food was delicious. There were some things I was not expecting as for a French patisserie, for example, Croissant was too dry (the leaves were too thick), the coffee cake was a bit dry as well. Tiramisu and the chocolate mousse were delicious as all the savory dishes.

Dined with 5 other friends. Wait staff was great. Food was very good. Noise level was a bit high. However, would dine there again.

the food was decent. but not worth $90 bucks for 2 people brunch buffet with tax n tip. $40 bucks for 2 people would be fair for that kind of small buffet. but i guess they gotta charge that much to pay the high rent in kendall square. if u can afford it and like a light buffet with some variety. go. but i probably wouldn’t go again. unless someone else was paying for me lol 😂 the tiramisu wasnt frozen when i went tho. if u can find someone who can afford to pay for u. and u live near by. it’s worth a visit tho.

Lovely place and a real “French feel”. Food was good and similar to what you’d get at a typical Bistro. Price is on the higher side (slightly), though in line with Cambridge prices. Wine was excellent! Don’t hesitate asking for suggestions, they are knowledgable.

The food has gotten so much better at Batifol since the opening, loved the Daily Catch at the beet salad, and the beef carpaccio. Wines btw were excellent!

Amazing experience and service. Our server said it was his second day but we didn’t believe him lmao. Cuz he was that good! And food was amazing

Fun experience with the buffet. Food is fresh and delicious, the cocktails are great, excellent service, amazing atmosphere. Cons: tiramisu was frozen and spoiled the impression at the end

Overall quality of brunch food has declined. For the rotating specialty items, there used to be oysters, prawns, croissants, and macarons, but on the day we went, there was only smoked salmon, and the croissants were mini ones that seemed dry and less buttery. A decent but average brunch buffet experience.
