   My friend felt the prime rib was a bit overcooked so this is the reason for the 4 star review. Our service was great from when we arrived until we left. All of the servers and hostesses were very pleasant and attentive. We will return and try other items on the menu.

   Service, food and atmosphere was all great! Want good food, pick Baton Rouge Want good atmosphere that you can hear the people at your table, pick Baton Rouge Want great service, pick Baton Rouge Chicken and rib dinner, full rack ribs, mushroom chicken dinner…all amazing entrees

   Austin was great, pleasant, interactive and available. The restaurant was relatively quiet patron wise but the service was great, food was great.

   We all enjoyed our meals. My son had a rack of ribs, very tender and there was a special where he got additional half rack. My wife had the black cod and said it was a perfect light meal. The prime rib sandwich and fries was tasty. Last but not least my daughter had the chicken fingers which she enjoyed. Since it was my son’s birthday they also brought out a cookie and ice cream with a candle. Need to say that our server was excellent. He was friendly and very helpful with suggestions.

   We orderd the lobster stuffed mushrooms and there was little to mo lobster in them they were served cold and no taste, 6 small mushrooms $18 my husband ordered primrib was a wait and was cold , I ordered the mushroom chicken it was not bad but not great and cold as well, our bill was like $150+ the server was pleasent.

   We visited Baton Rouge's Whitby location for the first time to have a casual dinner. The restaurant was relatively empty, which was surprising as we couldn't find a reservation on 14th Feb. We ordered a couple of appetizers and an entree each, including steak and Salmon. However, I am unhappy with the presentation and the food quality, which cost us $70 per head. The only thing outstanding was the service, as our server was courteous and professional.

    Overall, staff was very friendly and courteous. We were seated promptly and the food was good however, I did feel the baked potatoes should have been cooked a little bit more. When you put butter on it, it should start to melt from the heat. If it’s not melting, it’s not hot enough and you get that semi raw potato taste That should not be at that price point. We tried the French onion soup as well, which was pretty good, but I also think that it could’ve been cooked longer so that the cheese would’ve been cooler and the onions should not have been chewy. Again, it’s not the worst onion soup I’ve ever had. It was good. But not like other experiences I’ve had.  I used to be able to get a salad included with my expensive steak dinner, but that no longer applies and you have to pay extra for peppercorn sauce. All those things were included before so it seems excessive. I like mushrooms. I didn’t add them though because I really didn’t want to spend another eight dollars. Overall, I would continue to go.
