    The best dining by far in Parksville Qualicum Beach area. Other restaurants are more expensive but that does not mean the food is better. Everything on the menu is lovely and not something you could make yourself at home. Service is impeccable, (or at least the young ones are trying hard) and to top it off, the view. Breathtaking. The seafood is great, but I do not like seafood, and this is the only place that has entrees without seafood in it. Great for all tastes and diet preferences.

    Great view of Parksville beach, varied menu with lovely presentation when your choice reaches the table. We are local and this is our go to. Have yet to be disappointed.

    When my husband wants a steak, we head to the Bayside…cooked a perfect medium every time. His favourite appy….coconut prawns. I love their Caesar salad and their stuffed chicken is always delicious. Excellent service and we are always seated in the quieter lower section as requested. Tonight that section was closed but our server opened it for us. This area is perfect for anyone who has a hearing deficit. The Bayside is our ‘go to’ for a nice meal…well worth the drive from Nanaimo. Prices are comparable with any finer restaurant.

    Thank you for your attention to all the details that provide for a delicious meal and excellent, pleasant service. This the 2nd time I have dined in you restaurant thus week. The service was exceptional with B as our server that returned and had a great night tonight as well. Congratulations Bayside you are an 11 as you have everything plus you have made the environment a place where you can come with friends and have a conversation. Many restaurants these days do not. A place to enjoy with a special someone or good friends.

    Never disappoints. 2 of shared 3 appetizers (coconut prawns, pulled pork quesadillas and a small caesar salad) which left room for yummy dessert. Good service, good food and a good view.
