Our stunning ocean-front location with spectacular sunsets makes the Beach House an iconic destination on Kauai's south shore that has won the Hale 'Aina Award for "Best Restaurant - Kauai" for 20+ years.

Our philosophy at the Beach House is simple - take aloha, blend it with fresh and high-quality ingredients, and add an ocean view to deliver a handcrafted, Hawaiian experience. Executive Chef Marshall Blanchard makes the most of local ingredients by sourcing our fish directly from island fisherman and our beef from neighboring ranches. We incorporate fresh and local produce throughout our menu, highlighting Hawai'i farms and the resources that surround Kauai.

Reservations are highly recommended for a dining room table in our open-air restaurant. We also offer lounge seating on our lawn, where the full menu and full service are available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Please check in with the bar host for lawn seating.

Our Thanksgiving experience was good. Mahi Mahi was yummy. Steak requested medium rare was very rare. Lobster in the pasta was like cutting and chewing a car tire. Drinks and dessert were good. They had the doors open and the fans on full blast so our food got cold quickly and our hair was blowing like crazy which made it not very comfortable. Overall it was fine but for the price point, ambiance and quality we will be trying other places instead of returning.

Our Thanksgiving dinner at The Beach House in Poipu was nothing short of magical! This was our second visit—the first was in 2022 when we had an incredible meal—so our expectations were high, and we were not disappointed. From the moment we arrived, the stunning oceanfront location set the perfect stage for our special holiday evening. Our booth, right by the open-air windows, offered a breathtaking sunset view. As the sun dipped below the horizon, a mesmerizing flock of parrots gathered in the surrounding palm trees, adding a touch of island magic to our holiday celebration. Our server, Makayla, made the evening even more memorable with her warm, attentive, and knowledgeable service. She ensured every detail was perfect, from the delightful Mai Tai cocktails and local beers to the refreshing fresh POG juice. The Thanksgiving dinner menu was phenomenal. We savored the tender filet mignon, rich fish and lobster pasta, vibrant vegan veggies and noodles, perfectly seared ahi, and the standout macadamia-crusted mahi-mahi. Each dish was expertly prepared and full of flavor, surpassing even the high expectations we had from our first visit. The Beach House has become a special place for us, and it was the perfect setting for our Thanksgiving away from home. We can’t wait to return for our next celebration!

Our reservation on Thanksgiving was at 5:30 and we were seated at exacting 5:30. We were also celebrating our 40th Anniversary and we were wished Happy Anniversary by the host and our server Jordan. We had a cozy table with a beautiful sunset view. This is one of our favorite restaurants on Kauai. We have been coming here for over 30 years! My husband's scallops and my Mahi Mahi were soooo good. The complimentary dessert was delightful. A perfect evening with my sweetheart 💕

As expected, we had a wonderful fabulous delicious meal at Beach House. Our server (cannot for the life of me remember her name!) was terrific - attentive and fun and efficient. The food - A+++. The ambiance - I mean, it couldn’t be better, sitting outside on the water, watching the sun set. All in all, this is one of my favorite spots ever. We will be back. Probably tomorrow.

The food was good and there are great views. It’s was busy and we still had our food out in 20 min. The service was awesome. If you get Richie your in good hand.

We were disappointed. Service, especially Mikaela, was excellent. However, it was very loud with a fast food ambience except for the incredible view. The filet was tender and good but the mahi mahi was dry. The cocktail and lemonade were good. Cornbread was nice. Lemon ricotta cake was dry. She never rushed us but it did not have the leisurely feel of a meal for two that cost $200.

We spent our Thanksgiving week here in Kauai. The Beach House was definitely a highlight! Beautiful view and wonderful food and service!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving meal at the Beach House! Our server Brianna was amazing!! We enjoyed chatting with her. Food was delicious, valet guys super nice! Our only regret is we haven’t dined here sooner. Definitely looking forward to coming back!! Mahalo!!
