Our stunning ocean-front location with spectacular sunsets makes the Beach House an iconic destination on Kauai's south shore that has won the Hale 'Aina Award for "Best Restaurant - Kauai" for 20+ years.

Our philosophy at the Beach House is simple - take aloha, blend it with fresh and high-quality ingredients, and add an ocean view to deliver a handcrafted, Hawaiian experience. Executive Chef Marshall Blanchard makes the most of local ingredients by sourcing our fish directly from island fisherman and our beef from neighboring ranches. We incorporate fresh and local produce throughout our menu, highlighting Hawai'i farms and the resources that surround Kauai.

Reservations are highly recommended for a dining room table in our open-air restaurant. We also offer lounge seating on our lawn, where the full menu and full service are available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Please check in with the bar host for lawn seating.

Always enjoy the Beach House! Great variety on the menu, lovely views from every table and wonderful food. We had the lobster deviled eggs…great! We shared the tuna ahi sashimi and the mahi/lobster pasta…delicious! Drinks and food is pricey but so good! It was packed but service was good. We’re going back next week!

Great food and beautiful view. You should definitely experience this wonderful restaurant. I recommend the potstickers, lobster pasta and daily fish selection.

The Beach House Kauai is a very popular place, as the long delay being seated was evidence. Granted, a windy rain eliminated a few available outdoor tables. Once seated, however, the food was top notch: excellent ahi tuna sashimi app-probably the best ever, macadamia encrusted mahi mahi and sea scallop entrees. Very good cocktails too. Our server was excellent. Highly recommended except be aware, parking is limited or use valet service.

Consistently delicious food, wine and cocktails. We love coming here when we visit Kauai - we know the waitstaff will be attentive and knowledgeable, the menu not overly large and all dishes delicious and cooked as requested. We will return!!!!

The food and cocktails were good, but not special to warrant 5 stars. We ate at the Tide Pools the night before and wished we finished our stay on the island there. Perhaps if we dinned at the Beach House first we would have given it a 5. The Tide Pools ended up throwing some shade.

Booked for our 30th anniversary. Front staff seemed irritated that we refused the first table that was outdoors directly in the sun, so they put us at a tiny 2 person table at the busiest spot right near the entrance. There were plenty of other spots that were not occupied that would have been nice. Our waiter was nice, even got us a complimentary half glass of champagne. He gave good advice for the meal and split us a salad in the the back… which was nice since there wasn’t much room on the table for drinks, the bread and a large plate to go in the middle. Main course was decent, we both got a fish dish (mahi mahi and the ahi). The fish itself was great, sides were not good. No dessert since we were not liking the traffic by our table and the crowd was getting louder as the sun was setting, we just wanted to go. At $53 for a small portion of fish and $10 for a pint of beer you are paying for the view, which is decent when there isn’t a crowd outside blocking it. Overall would not go back.
