Our stunning ocean-front location with spectacular sunsets makes the Beach House an iconic destination on Kauai's south shore that has won the Hale 'Aina Award for "Best Restaurant - Kauai" for 20+ years.

Our philosophy at the Beach House is simple - take aloha, blend it with fresh and high-quality ingredients, and add an ocean view to deliver a handcrafted, Hawaiian experience. Executive Chef Marshall Blanchard makes the most of local ingredients by sourcing our fish directly from island fisherman and our beef from neighboring ranches. We incorporate fresh and local produce throughout our menu, highlighting Hawai'i farms and the resources that surround Kauai.

Reservations are highly recommended for a dining room table in our open-air restaurant. We also offer lounge seating on our lawn, where the full menu and full service are available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Please check in with the bar host for lawn seating.

Beach House is always a go-to favorite for our whole family when we are on Kaua’i. It was our first night on island and we were all excited to go. Beach House did not disappoint! Nate was our server (excellent service!) and the food and ambiance were perfection. We were able to watch from our table as the sky changed colors as the sun set. Wr had the lobster deviled eggs (delish!) the poke tacos (always a favorite), the lobster/seafood pasta (two orders of that because it’s so good) and our son had a filet mignon which he said was delicious. Can’t recommend this restaurant highly enough. We will continue to go back again and again!

Had heard great things and disappointed with the service. Asked if our daughter could have a side salad instead of the sides that came with her $26 kids dish- that was a huge problem they had to ask the GM. After all back and forth they said yes but everything was such a hassle and food/service to piece not worth it except for the view. Would rather come for a drink and sunset.

We dined on 11/24/24. Our reservation was at 6. We arrived at 5:30 to watch the sunset and take pictures. We were seated at 6 and the table was great, near the outside area. But then everything went downhill. Within minutes, a wait staff dropped a pitcher of water right behind me and it splashed all over me and a few others at our table. My dress and undergarments were quite wet. Not a single staff apologized or asked if they could help, we were literally ignored. I told my server who really didn’t respond and finally after standing and waving my dress to try and dry another wait staff said oh I bet that feels good (I assume because it was warm in the restaurant). Actually no, having wet clothes was not good. Finally, a manager came and apologized. I get things happen, but the way it was handled us left a bad taste. We got our drinks, they were good Mai Tais. Trying to reset, we ordered appetizers; ravioli, deviled eggs and potstickers. All delicious. After being seated for an hour our dinner order was taken. The seafood pasta was ok, fish and lobster seemed a little overcooked. The Mac Nut fish was mushy. The filet mignon was excellent. Service felt distracted and slow. Our empty drink glasses sat on the table until we moved them all to a corner and they were finally bussed. We ordered a bottle of wine for dinner and the server could not open it but one of our guests was finally able to remove the cork. The bottle had to be taken to the bar for straining and decanting. We requested a new bottle, however we were told it was the only one they had. Dessert was crème brullee and mochi cake. Both very good. At the end we were comped the 2 desserts. But this was not the experience I hyped to my family. Over $800 spent. Would not go again.

The view was amazing and didn’t disappoint since it was the main reason we booked the spot. First time trip to Kauai and we had some flight delays so we had to go straight to the restaurant from the airport to make it in time for our reservation. Got there right at 5:15p right before sunset and it was a magical light show all the way until sunset. Food was great (especially the ahi steak) and the drinks were awesome (Mai tai and mule with their homemade ginger beer). Service was excellent all around. Great way to start off our trip!

From start to finish, we had an amazing experience. Atmosphere was perfect for our final night in Kauai. Sunset view was spectacular. Service by Rayna (I believe that’s her name) was top notch. She was friendly, quick, and really cared about our experience. She made us all feel like family! Food was delicious from the focaccia bread to the lobster deviled eggs to the fish & lobster pasta to the macadamia crusted catch of the day! Of course we can’t forget dessert…. Coconut creme brûlée and the tiramisu were both amazing. Hubby also said his old fashion was the best he’s ever had. And our girls loved their pasta and Lappert’s ice cream! Can’t wait to dine here again when we return in the future. Thank you, The Beach House, for an unforgettable Hawaiian evening.

My second time to the Beach house on this trip. The service from Trish was phenomenal and the food was fantastic. When we come back to kauai I will definitely be making another reservation. Thank you Trish for a great birthday dinner for my wife.

The atmosphere was amazing and we were lucky to experience a very beautiful sunset. The MaiTai’s are a must-try. We had the lobster deviled eggs. Loved them! My husband and I shared the pasta and lobster dish. The flavor was outstanding.

Got there early to watch the sunset and sat at the bar. We were charged for six beers and only had four. This was resolved after being brought to their attention. Reservation seating was 20 minutes late. Wait staff was excellent as was the food.
