We always dine at Beach House at least a couple of times during our Longboat Key visits. This is one of our two favorite restaurants on the islands! Although we miss the crab cakes, the raspberry dressing, and the classic Beach House menu, the grouper sandwich is great, and we hope that the new ownership doesn't change this iconic beachfront restaurant. It was great to see Jeff, our server again this week, and he makes Beach House feel like "coming home."

Wonderful to be on the beach. Service was excellent. As usual, food was uneven. Grouper tacos had almost no grouper in them.

Wonderful service and atmosphere. Food was also great along with the top shelf margaritas

The most disappointing aspect was the food. Very small portions, lacked flavour and poorly presented. Charging such high prices is not warranted! Grouper tacos had one small piece of fish in each(2 tacos) and a tiny bowl of tasteless Cole slaw was $28.00. Won’t be back

Todd was THE BEST server! He was attentive and funny, and very efficient. We love that Beach House is now taking reservations, which will bring us back more often. The food is great, and you cannot beat the view.

We chose an earlier time so we could enjoy sitting on deck right near the beach. Our servers were friendly & took good care of us. We chose drinks, clam chowder, house salad (we shared), salmon & then the key lime pie. All delicious!! Thanks Beach House for making it an enjoyable evening, we’ll be back!!

Ambiance was terrible and the booths were dirty. The food was ok and the server was very good.

If you want a fantastic meal with your toes in the sand then The Beach House is second to none. Great service, delicious food and the waves of the Gulf of Mexico crashing next to your table. Perfection!

Our waiter Drew was great. Needs more vegetarian options. Impossible burger would be nice also. Valet parking was great!

1st time back to The Beach House since it changed ownership and since the hurricanes. We found everything to be lovely, even though the bar area outside is still not completed. Our server was fun and did a great job. The food was probably the best I've ever had at The Beach House, and I've been eating there for over a decade. We had a table in the sand and the sound of the waves hitting the shore was so nice and we were even lucky enough to see a shooting star to wish on, for New Years Eve.
