Really lovely warm welcome, the food is amazing and very well priced. We had cocktails which were excellent and very well made. We will definately be back

First visit and we went in for breakfast . Friendly staff , good choice of food and lovely decor , will definitely be returning !

Bear is a firm favourite with our family and our Christmas brunch did not disappoint. We enjoyed a selection of meals from the brunch menu and the lunch menu including the 3 different burgers, the smashed Mac and the sweet potato and chickpea hash special. All were devoured and very much enjoyed. The coffee is always good and some of the party enjoyed a larger on tap and commented on its smoothness. This was my first weekend brunch and my only negative was no free coffee with the brunch which I now see is an offer that runs Monday - Friday. We were seated at the large high table which might not be for everyone with backless chairs and in the center of the restaurant and thoroughfare so busy and better suited for a quick coffee rather than a longer brunch but I will remember this when booking again. Eating out is not cheap but we felt £100 for 7 of us including a few beers was good value and very much enjoyed. Thanks to all.

Easy to book a table online. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was fresh.

Nice modern design inside an old pub. Food fantastic, great choice and delicious! It’s order at the bar which isn’t ‘service’ and then very slow to clear. But will be back to try again.
