Beatrix is a neighborhood coffeehouse, restaurant and meeting place in Chicago’s River North, Streeterville, Fulton Market, The Loop and Oak Brook neighborhoods. The restaurant is the brainchild of Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises’ Founder Rich Melman, Executive Partner and Divisional President Marc Jacobs and Chef Partners Andrew Ashmore, Rita Dever and Susan Weaver. The meal started out with a problem with cold chicken. But when advised, the restaurant really stepped up. We were provided with a great hors d'oeuvre (the whipped feta) while they prepared another chicken dish. Plus they cover the charge for most of the meal. We will be back.

I was disappointed. We listed in the reservation that all 4 guests are vegan. However, no one reached out to me to inform that on weekends, brunch menu does not have vegan options. We drove all the way to Beatrix and then ate some where else after finding out at 2:00 pm that brunch menu does not have vegan options unlike the lunch menu.

Went for my birthday and had a great experience for my first time there. Chocolate cake was a nice touch to end the birthday brunch :)

My friend’s daughter was with us and that can be challenging but they were so accommodating and sweet to her! The food was excellent! Will come here again

Brittany was awesome. It was my husband's birthday and I treated him to breakfast to kick off his birthday-day weekend. We had a great time this morning. She was down to earth and she made it more comfortable. We've been to Beatrix, all locations a few times and this was the best experience. Thank you! We'll be back next weekend for my birthday.

Our lunch was fantastic. The service was perfect, and the stars of the show food-wise were the ham and cheese croissant (insanely flaky yet buttery and melted ham and cheese throughout) and the peppermint chocolate donut for dessert. Our server was super friendly, staff was professional and attentive, and the ambience was impeccable. For a Saturday afternoon it was bright and lively inside while managing to keep a chill, friendly, and quaint ambience. This will definitely be a go-to anytime we need to run into a shop in Fulton Market.

Beatrix was ready ready for us when we showed up for reservation and had a party of five and a toddler where they chose to sit us at a table for six that was a couch with three chairs. It was perfect to have the toddler on the between grandpa and his mother. It was a great family get together for our Thanksgiving holiday. Raves for the whole experience.
