Beatrix is a neighborhood coffeehouse, restaurant and meeting place in Chicago’s River North, Streeterville, Fulton Market and Oak Brook neighborhoods. The restaurant is the brainchild of Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises’ Founder Rich Melman, Executive Partner and Divisional President Marc Jacobs and Chef Partners John Chiakulas, Rita Dever and Susan Weaver. Alison was our server and she was phenomenal...made our whole meal fantastic...food was so yummy...brussels sprouts, buffalo meatballs, burgers great prosecco...had a ball!

The restaurant was jumping on a Sunday afternoon. Met girlfriends for a birthday brunch. Service was great and polite, food was amazing. I had green chili and chicken enchiladas… highly recommend and a lavender honey oat milk latte. Atmosphere was lively and prices were reasonable. We will be back.

Warning: if you order a cocktail that’s not on the menu (very limited cocktail menu), you should ask about price. I ordered a Manhattan using Woodford Reserve. Typically, a Manhattan is around 15 bucks. I understand that a premium whiskey would add to the price. I was shocked at how much I was charged………$27! Come on! Maybe 17 or even 20 bucks. 27? A complete rip-off! Why wouldn’t the server give me a heads up? I will never go to any Lettuce Entertain You restaurant. I know it means nothing to them, but it does to me.

We love Beatrix. Today I met a friend for lunch. We had a great server that gave us time to catch up before ordering. We ordered the pistachio crusted white fish which was very tasty.
