Beatrix is a neighborhood coffeehouse, restaurant and meeting place in Chicago’s River North, Streeterville, Fulton Market and Oak Brook neighborhoods. The restaurant is the brainchild of Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises’ Founder Rich Melman, Executive Partner and Divisional President Marc Jacobs and Chef Partners John Chiakulas, Rita Dever and Susan Weaver. We had a group of 8 people and enjoyed the front table and it was quiet in that area so had a great birthday celebration. Wait staff was very courteous and was available when needed. Very good experience.

Food was delicious. Our server was delightful. Atmosphere nice but too noisy. Not sure what can be done to absorb sound better so you can hear your dining companions.

Had 5:30 reservations and to my surprise happy hour was available til 6 - had two great dinners and 4 cocktails for < $70 . Will be back.

Immediately greeted/seated by the hostess. Our server was right at our table within minutes. Everyone was very friendly/helpful. Warm and cozy atmosphere on a very cold Chicago day. Place was buzzing with good vibes. We’ll return as the food was also delicious/enjoyable. Wonderful lunch.
