   First time here even though we’re local and pleasantly surprised. Of course it’s “off season” so we’ll come again when it gets very busy with hopes the timely great service, quality of food and ambience hold up.

   I’ve been coming to this restaurant since it opened and have hosted and attended events here, but this last visit was a big disappointment. The roasted beet salad was just cold, chunky beets on a pile of arugula, and the lobster bisque was thick, overly creamy, and had no lobster flavor—just fennel strings. When we shared our concerns, the manager was defensive and dismissive, insisting nothing was wrong. It was a frustrating interaction that made us feel unheard and unwelcome. Our server, on the other hand, was kind and apologetic. We understand there’s a new chef and that change takes time. If the manager had handled things better, we would have considered coming back. But after this experience, we’re sadly done.

   Waitress made excellent recommendations from the calamari sticky ribs to the pasta bills side and swordfish. All was delicious

   My daughter and I had an excellent dinner and dining experience at Beech. Every staff member was pleasant, professional, knowledgeable and delivered a great customer experience. It was evident that the food was prepared by pros with care - favorable, perfect temperature and great proportions. We will be retuning soon. I highly recommend Beech and their team. Great job !

   Unfortunately I did not realize that the reservation time was for Brunch only . The food and service was pleasant but we had driven over an hour for a grilled cheese and breakfast burger. Nothing negative about the restaurant I wish I had known that and waited until 4 pm to make a later reservation. The Bloody Mary was delicious though. We will return later in the season and at a later time for dinner.

   We were seated promptly, service was amazing. Such a beautiful dining room and location. The dinner was excellent, one of the best NY Sirloins I have had in a very long time, it was tender, flavorful, and ample in portion. My wife had a pasta dish, sun-dried tomatoes, toasted pine nuts, spinach.. she raved about it! Also the mushroom tart was delicious. I highly recommends BEECH in Jamestown ,RI
