The Beehive is an underground Bohemian eatery and bar featuring fabulous cuisine, libations, artwork and world class live music. Nestled below the Boston Center for the Art’s historic Cyclorama in Boston’s South End, we are conveniently located to local theaters, the Calderwood Pavilion as well as Boston's Theater district. The Beehive serves the eclectic fare of Chef Ryan Skeen - rustic comfort food infused with American and Mediterranean influences. Haley our waitress was the best. The hostess at the door was great. Whipped Ricotta & Beet & endive salad were delicious. Blues band "Bruce Bears & Friends" with Ingrid Gerdes singing were amazing!! Such a fun night!

Food was very reasonably priced. Only miss was the whipped ricotta which was lacking flavor. Swordfish was amazing.

They rush you through dinner. 3 people kept trying clear the table. Makes you feel that turning the table is what matters most Added a charge for the music. No choice. While music is great I do not like them deciding to add money onto my bill with no choice. Says it may happen in the menu so once one sees that should we leave if we don’t agree.? These added charges are a principal item. No restaurant should control one’s wallet on items they force upon the buyer. Waiter was good. Food was good but these other items make us know we can go elsewhere as there are many choices in boston.

No fault to any staff member. Went in on a first date and figured we’d be sat near the stage as a two top. We were on the opposite side of the stage that really just felt like the basement of a church on Sunday morning
