Featuring raw oysters and fresh seafood with international influences from executive chef Eddie Barrett, BeetleCat is a trendy restaurant and bar in Atlanta’s Inman Park neighborhood. The menu transports you to the New England coast at the upstairs dining room and oyster bar, while the downstairs Den lends itself to a 70s surf shack. Enjoy fresh air on one of the two patios, both upstairs and downstairs. BeetleCat is open nightly for dinner and offers brunch in the Den on Saturdays and Sundays.

Made a reservation specifically to go have oysters and ended up having a little bit of everything on the menu, and it was all delicious. Our server was so kind to answer our gazillion questions, made informed recommendations, and also talked TikTok videos with our table. Admittedly, this wasn’t a spot high on my wish list, but it’s become one of my faves after one visit!

Slow service, entrees, sides, and entree drinks came out 5 minutes apart, respectively

This place is consistently great! Last night I tried something that sounded crazy for a seafood restaurant to put on its menu, but it was the second best thing I’ve ever had there (after the stew) - chicken schnitzel. Phenomenal! I’d steer clear from the lobster roll if you’re hungry. I know those things are always small, but this one is minuscule. They should at least let it come “with” fries (which are so good!) instead of having to add that on. But overall- still one of my favorite restaurants in town!

Lobster Roll wasn’t very good for the price. It was overcooked and very chewy, plus it was on a hamburger bun, not a soft roll.

The ambience is great and the service is great. Food portions are not the largest but decent. Would definitely come back.

Nice ambiance. Our waitress Destiny was personable and attentive. The food was decent but I’m not sure worth the money paid.
