   We had a table of 8 and they sat us right by the window which looked out directly on the beautiful marina. They were very accommodating with our reservation when we had to push it 30 minutes. Food was delicious. The appetizers were exquisite! Our server was friendly! She let us know right up front that our experience was going to be nice and slow. I do wish they would have taken our order up front versus waiting until we were done with appetizers. Overall, a good time.

   Outstanding New Year’s Eve meal. I had the octopus starter and the baked grouper as my entree. Absolutely delicious. Beautiful view of the harbor added to the experience.

   OUTSTANDING! THE BEST EXPERIENCE! From check in to check out…PERFECTION Elizabeth S., our waitress was FABULOUS! She was the BEST server and gave us a memorable experience. Osso Bucco was flavorful! We subbed linguini for the polenta…WOWSER! The pasta special…DID NOT disappoint. The chicken filled ravioli with pesto pasta was out of this WORLD. The Bourbon was on point, too. We were too full to enjoy dessert, so we got it to go. The chocolate dessert was heavenly. We HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. BEST ITALIAN RESTAURANT in Key West.    Our dining experience at Bel Mare was overall exceptional. Service started off questionable as we had to wait quite a while to be greeted by our server. However, once that passed, the rest of the dinner was wonderful. Our server made some outstanding recommendations for our dinner selections. We started off with the octopus appetizer which was perhaps the star of the evening. It was prepared to perfection- tender and flavorful. Our entrees were also very good, the lobster risotto had what seemed to be a whole lobster! Rounded out dinner with dessert- key lime pie was very good. Overall, would definitely recommend Bel Mare for a special evening.
