Drove into Saratoga from way out of the area and were hoping for a lovely lunch. Unfortunately, what we got was mediocre. First off, parking is difficult to find. Second, there are at least 6 steps going into the front door and I was bringing an elderly woman with limited mobility and a walker. The staff watched as we basically carried this woman into the restaurant and didn't even help hold open the front door. We were surprised by the lack of diners for a weekday afternoon; only two tables were occupied. While the menu was extensive, but the food was not all that good or even presented well. The gentleman in our group ordered the breakfast burrito with potatoes which he described as just OK...nothing special or great flavors. Just something to eat after such a long drive. Us ladies both had the same thing...soup and sandwich. The clam chowder was actually pretty good. Nice creamy broth. The ham & cheese panninis were lousy. No other way to describe them. Packaged ham slices shoved in between two slices of bread along with a slice of ? cheese and barely warmed... the cheese wasn't melted, but since it was barely noticeable I guess it didn't make much of a difference. Service was OK. Passable, but the staff didn't seem all that interested in the diners. I guess that part that left me shaking my head was at the end. We maneuvered our elderly guest through the other dining tables back toward the front entrance when a staff member said "You can use the ramp off the patio if its easier." What the ????? They stood there when we entered and never bothered to tell us we could use the ramp that looks like it belongs to the establishment next door. Food=C Service=C Caring for their guests=F Sorry, can't recommend this place to anyone, particularly the disabled.

This little gem in the heart of Saratoga provides a wide variety of entrees for breakfast and lunch. Reasonably priced with generous portions.

I took a friend to Bell Tower Bistro for lunch last week. I'd been there before; it was her first visit. She was very pleased. I had the Nutty Turkey Salad, which was delicious, and a glass of Sangria. Perfect for a hot day. My friend had the Quiche, and told me the crust tasted like croissants! I'll have to try it next time. The covered patio is shady and cool, even on hot days, and a breeze made for a perfect time for our visit. Although we didn't arrive until after 1 p.m., our friendly waiter gave us plenty of time, even as it approached their 2:30 p.m. closing time. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Can't wait to go back!

The restaurant was very quaint with a feeling of elegance and homeliness. The food served was very simple and classic however; it didn't have many dimensions and was slightly dull. The location of the restaurant is very convenient though parking is not too easily found. Overall I had a good experience and I thought it was very appropriate for brunches with friends and dates.

We came here for Fathers Day brunch and they were VERY slow. After our food arrived, we had no condiments (syrup for pancakes, salsa for burrito etc) and eventually went up to the register to get them ourselves since our server never came back. We also never got refills on coffee without going up to the counter and asking for them. The potatoes were cold, the portion size was tiny and my husbands eggs were supposed to be sunny side up, but the yolks were cooked through and they were hard. He didn't send them back because it would have taken forever for a new order to come out . Overall, it was disappointing. I could envision this restaurant being better on a day other than Father's Day when they were not too busy, but they really should have planned better to provide a better dining experience for their guests.

Food was as expected and surprising well portioned for breakfast. Service needs some help as one server was running around doing everything.

Our party of 5 was there for Mother's Day brunch. It was a fantastic experience! Although the restaurant was PACKED the service was incredible. It did take a little longer than usual to get our food, I am sure, but given the number of people who were in the establishment it was to be understood and not something that we felt was to be concerned with, especially since we had bottomless Mimosas, Sangria and Bloody Mary's to enjoy! I definitely will return to the Bell Tower Bistro again...it made our Mother's Day fabulous!!
