Bella Roma is a small, family-owned Italian restaurant. The dining room isn't very big, but that only adds to the intimate charm and the sense that guests have stepped into an Italian family kitchen. The food at Bella Roma is in high demand, so much so that it is not uncommon for the restaurant to run out of certain items by the end of the night. That's a great problem to have, as all the pasta and sauces are made from scratch every day in Bella Roma's kitchen. The menu is classic Italian, through and through. Guests can start with a plate of fried calamari or bruschetta, then enjoy a taste veal parmigiana or chicken saltimbocca. There are plenty of great Italian desserts at Bella Roma as well. The most popular are the cannoli's, but diners should also give the house made gelato a try as well.

I took a large group here and was disappointed as to how the evening was handled all of the way around. To begin with, we only had 4 menu items to choose from and instead of being charged for the number of guests we had in attendance, I believe I was charged for even more! I was not presented an itemized bill or given the courtesy of a receipt by the owner, himself! It wasn't until I did the math for myself that I realized how grossly overcharged I really was! Watch your wallet if you dine here!

When I made reservations I was not told that there would be a fixed menu with only 4 items on it. I was expecting the full menu and by the time we got there and found this out it was too late to go anywhere else. Also prices were outrageous. $10 for one house salad with lettuce, onion, cheese, tomato, & cucumber. That is nuts! We will not be going back!

All the food was amazing! Our wait was short, our waitress was super nice and the atmosphere was great.

Our server was also the bartender. She was very sweet but clearly in over her head. Despite repeated reminders, we never got one course. Also no salt and pepper. The garlic bread and nice ambiance were the best th ings about the meal.
