Bell's Mansion is located atop the perfect hill in Stanhope, NJ - right across from the Morris Canal. The restaurant is adorned with many vintage and antique pieces to create the perfect atmosphere for your quaint dinner or casual night out. Espresso martini excellent. Snapper was fresh. Bread is very good. Service and ambience old world.

My friend from out of town and I had drinks and dinner at Bells Mansion recently. It was a first visit. It is a historic home site which tends to be very dark and not particularly welcoming. The highlights were the drinks were outstanding. The service was excellent. The overall meal was very good including the wonderful hot fresh bread, salads and vegetables. However our entree was very disappointing. The honey glazed lamb chops tasted very gamey or cooked from frozen??? Would not order again. Not sure we would return…

The Mansion is absolutely amazing!!! It is so quaint. The food was delicious and presented itself beautifully. The wait staff was so attentive. We didn’t take part but at the end of the meal we were offered a dessert after dinner drink for Valentine’s Day, which is so very classy. We will definitely be back.

The food at Bells Mansion never disappoints. I had the sesame crusted tuna and it was cooked perfectly. The dessert was great also.

We have been here several times. Food and service are always wonderful. The historic building is always beautiful for ambiance and charm.
