Food was just ok Overcooked fries- hard a s a rock Charred fried rice Noodle dish sat under heat lamp so it was dry. Zero attention to detail.

Food was great, we were early on a weekday for dinner so it was not busy. The fried chicken and bao buns were excellent. Service was a little slow but probably because it wasn’t busy, they got engaged in conversation and not paying too much attention to customers at the time.

Great innovative food and cocktails. Everything we tried was well prepared and served promptly. Can’t wait to return and explore more items from the winter menu.

As happens often, to me, I ask if something is spicy, told "No", and, it is. We had two items tonight. Shrimp skewers and the fried rice with jackfruit. The fried rice was the offending dish. It had a fairly wet consistency, I wasn't expecting, but this might be a Thai thing I thought. It was tasty till the heat came on and that ended the episode. The shrimp was fine, not great. They have a drink called Matcha, Matcha Man I liked a lot. Half the time I run into the spicy/heat issue at a restaurant the staff will accuse me (in their own special way) of not being smart enough to have known it was going to be hot/spicy even though they said it wouldn't be. They took the fried rice off the bill. P.S. The piped in music is LOUD.

Our server was also the host. They were obviously understaffed at front of house. They changed the menu. It is more typical (I.e. beef and broccoli, etc). The menu says “steak” everywhere. Like what kind of steak?? They removed the more unique dishes from the menu. It’s supposed to be Vietnamese, not “Asian”. Feels more Asian now. Mom in law had a piece of string in her noodles. Sent the dish back. Pretty gross. Flavors were there, but overall not too satisfied. They were out of the first thing I ordered (Pork chop). Probably not going back. It’s a shame because we live close by and this is probably our 5th or 6th time there.

Belly bar is underrated! However, there are some items I would absolutely recommend over others: Get the skewers—specifically the steak ones. Best thing on the menu. The pork belly clay pot is so amazingly savory too! It’s my go-to. I’ve enjoyed the pho and oysters as a special which were also great. I wish they had those consistently. I’ve wish they would bring back some of the drinks they rotated off their menu. They had some smoky ones that were to die for and now the rest are meh.
