Amazing food, lovely service, nice atmosphere (music is a little loud but by no means offensively so). This is a special spot in Ottawa; highly recommended!

I had the Turkish eggs and they were amazing, poached to perfection and very flavourful. The place was very calm and great to have a conversation with your party. The service staff was very friendly and put great care into our order, as well as suggesting menu items that could be of our interest.

We would recommend the Belmont to anyone as it is a favourite in our neighborhood. The food is excellent and by looking at their menu it has a variety that will work with different diets and tastes. Enjoy!!

Belmont is a gem in town. Everything on the menu is good and I love that they change it up which makes you want to come back to try the new dishes and also makes you miss some older dishes .

Wonderful surprise! This small restaurant has fantastic food, highly recommended the Mushroom dish with Lion’s Mane mushrooms! Also, the twist on Trini Doubles were amazing! Adam at the bar made a wonderful cocktail based on our likes and dislikes and was a great host! Nothing but superlatives.

My wife and I tried Belmont for the first time to have brunch. Had to wait a week to get a reservation. Brunch is supposed to be a combination of breakfast and lunch. I ordered French toast($16) which was one slice of bread with some whipped cream and some reconstituted blueberries. My wife ordered the poached eggs with half a dozen sliced potatoes, small green and homemade butter milk biscuit. The eggs were the size of Qual eggs, the butter milk biscuit was dry and the only good bit were the potatoes. $16 for a slice of fried bread is ridiculous. It’s the question of value for what you get and what they charged us, wasn’t worth the money we paid. When we were done, we were still hungry and we joked that we had our appetizer, now let’s go and get some real food. As a brunch, it was not fulfilling and not worth waiting a week to get a table. That was the first and the last time we will go there. You will get one chance to make a good expression, and they failed.

Always love coming to the Belmont. The service, food and drinks never disappoint. Had the steak benny for brunch and it was delicious! Can't wait for my next visit!
