   I understand it was a busy Valentines Sunday evening, but I made reservations for 6:30pm & didn't get seated until after 8pm. That was the only issue, other than that...service was good, food was good & my son enjoyed his birthday dinner.

   To begin with we had a reservation for 9:15, we weren’t seated until 10:30. Then after that it took a solid 20 minutes before anyone even came to our table to take our orders. I was already very annoyed and ready to go, but we decided to give them a break since it seemed busy. There was 9 people crammed at our table (which is 1 too many in regards to space and comfort). Then as the cook began making food at least 3 orders were wrong. Everyone at my table was annoyed and it took forever for us to get any food. A normal dinner date night that should have been a 1 hour experience was a horribly drawn out 3.5 hour ordeal because this restaurant doesn’t care about their reservations and their service was horrible. They had excellent customer service though, everyone was pleasant, it was just horribly run restaurant.

   Reso at 845, only seated at 9:30, only started eating at like 10:45…enough said

   I’ve always enjoyed Benihanas and have been to several different locations, but the one in Chicago has been the worst. You would think that being valentines weekend that they would have been better prepared for the rush.My wife and I had 730 reservations and didn’t get seated until after 830. Our server then notified us that there was not enough chef’s available with no notice of when one will be available. While waiting, our appetizers were served to us cold. Staff seemed to be trying their best and Ardis our chef was great with his presentation. He had to ask a staff member for a main portion of my meal that wasn’t prepared for him. So I was not able to enjoy my whole meal with my wife. I didn’t think management went about handling the evening well or didn’t even offer no explanation or apologies for any inconveniences. Unfortunately we will probably not be returning to the Chicago location.

   Good place with great food, setvice needs some work andbunfortunstely the smelling from cooking in front of you makes it hard… but overall was ok

   The team was cordially welcoming from the moment we arrived at the restaurant, guiding us directly to our reserved table. There the waiter received us friendly explaining a little of what the experience would be. To then continue with the food courses. The chef who cooked for our group was attentive and tried to do a little show while we cook the food. We celebrated my daughter's 9th birthday and in the end of our dinner the waiters came to sing “Happy birthday” to my daughter. She enjoyed the whole experience 100% !!! I definitely recommend the place.

   Sergio our Teppan Chef was very engaging with our table, we brought our two children who are 5 and 3 for a family Valentine's celebration and he did an amazing job keeping them engaged and being mindful of there food service through each of the courses.

    I had fun it was quite no over crowd with people the servers and cook were amazing I love coming for my special event I had my birthday and Valentine’s and brought my mother up there for mother days and you guys never disappointed
