After ten years of continued success in the New York metro area, Benjamin Restaurant Group is proud to open its newest space, Benjamin Steakhouse Prime. Here, modern elegance is combined with traditional steakhouse classics, while also showcasing signature standouts from highly regarded sister property Benjamin Steakhouse. After perfecting both steakhouse and seafood concepts in their arsenal, Benjamin Restaurant Group is highlighting the grill at Prime, serving up USDA prime dry aged steaks and succulent seafood in unique ways. The 10,000 square foot space houses an expansive main dining room featuring wall mounted fireplaces. A temperature-controlled wine wall is exposed throughout the upper level which also offers five customizable private dining spaces for seating of up to 100+ guests.

Well, we dined here previously and were excited to come for Thanksgiving dinner since we were back in the city. We had an 8 pm reservation for four. I couldn’t even get through the check in line until 8 20. The lobby was mobbed. The hostess said they were behind and go have a drink at the bar which we could not even get to. Patrons complaining that the wait with a reservation was over an hour. Its a shame because we intentionally booked there for the special holiday because last year when we went ( on Christmas) it was spectacular, and we wanted to share with our family. We left….

Thanksgiving day experience. First of all, thank you guys very much for keeping a Thanksgiving menu open for people to have the option. Two of us did use the Thanksgiving menu and two of us got the surf and turf. Great experience. Great food. Great ambience. I would certainly go back. Amazing staff. I would highly recommend.

Made a reservation for Thanksgiving Dinner. Was asked by establishment to confirm this reservation. When we arrived (20 minutes before our scheduled reservation at 7:30 pm) we had to wait in a long line to check in . After 40 minutes, we finally reached the desk to check in. We were asked to wait ( no reason given) and were finally seated at 9:00pm (an hour and a half past our reserved time). I ordered the special turkey dinner. What it ended up being was a pile of shredded dark meat, presumably from the leg of the turkey. I was served this and the surprises that were within the shredded meat - tendons and an entire skin of the leg. On top of this were 3 small pieces (about 1 inch long) that were on top of the shredded turkey mush. The accompaniments were dry and balanced out the the entire meal as not only one of the worst thanksgiving meals I’ve ever had and made it’s place in the top 3 worst meals I’ve ever had

There was a bit of a wait but once we were at our table the incredible experience began. Would highly recommend this steakhouse.

Awful. We had a reservation at 7 pm and the table was ready 1 hour later. The place was packed, and the service people was overwhelmed. The steak came extremely overcooked and all was overpriced. Never will back again

I made a reservation for thanksgiving a few days before but they overbooked! We arrived before our reservation. We were told 15 mins but after 45 mins waiting we left. There was a large number of people doing the same thing. Chaos as the app continued to show spots available for reservation.
