We went for brunch and my husband had the worst chicken fried steak he’s ever had. The breading came off and the steak was incredibly tough and chewy. I had eggs Benedict and it was meh with plain potatoes on the side. We had been here once before for early dinner and enjoyed it. We will not brunch here again.

The food was good and servings were large. Bennett's seemed more like a diner with full bar than fine dining experiences we reserve through open table. We asked for a quiet location given one guest with hearing aids. The table was between the lobby and the kitchen door. We finished eating and got to go boxes before dessert was served. The table was not bussed. Several plates sat at the table while we ate dessert.

I normally photograph my food and I didn’t do it but I had a delicious chicken salad with figs and we had the artichoke dip with homemade potato chips they make. It was so great! Nice cocktail and wine menu as well! It is very loud on a Friday night but still very fun!

The food and drinks were exceptional. The service was excellent, we were actually having dirty dishes, removed from the table, right as we were getting done with them. This is something that I miss that used to be the norm. There was a company event going on at the time so it was a little noisy, but not to the point of being obnoxious. I would definitely recommend the prime rib.
