Set in the revitalized James St. North neighbourhood, Berkeley North is a West Coast inspired restaurant located on historic King William Street in the heart of downtown Hamilton. Berkeley North is the go to spot for a quick bite to eat, weekend late night cocktails, celebrating a special occasion or hosting a private party. Our young and passionate culinary team follows no scripts or rules when creating vibrant and unique dishes. We allow the seasons to influence our changing menu and are committed to using responsibly sourced ingredients. Went here for an anniversary dinner. The ambience is excellent, service was great, and food was amazing!

The food was AMAZING! The atmosphere was just as beautiful! The teriyaki egglant have to be the best we ever had. We also had the fried chicken. They had a special drink menu for February annd we had the Royal Aperitivo which was again AMAZING! When you come to Hamilton you have to make reservations to eat here. We will be back!

My husband and I had an excellent lunch here in February 2025. I had a BN salad and Shrimp Pasta. My husband had the mushroom dumplings and Caesar Salad. The food was delicious and the service was very good.

The food was amazing and the staff was accommodating, polite, and non intrusive. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful food and staff, the drinks were great, alcoholic or not. Wonderful valentines day experience!

Visited here with my wife for Dinner, great experience and food. We had the gluten free tasting menu. Recommended 👍

The dinner was more than I expected. Talk about a perfect dinner with extremely attentive service and phenomenal food. You can’t ask for anything more!! I will definitely come back again.

Top shelf for atmosphere, service and menu!! Had a variety of dishes between my husband and myself and it was all delicious. Atmosphere was unique and intimate. Definitely plan to return!

We had the tasting menu. Everything was delicious, especially the eggplant and sesame dish. The potatoes with the rainbow trout were a bit cold but everything else was spectacular. Great service, friendly staff, a good cozy interior with high ceilings. Not too noisy or distracting.
