   The food here is absolutely outstanding. it’s no wonder this place has thrived for nearly a decade and keeps people coming back. With excellent dishes, reasonable prices, and a perfectly cozy ambiance, it delivers a true dining experience. This is hands down my new favorite spot for a warm, intimate dinner with my husband. Last night, we tried just about everything and couldn’t find a single thing to complain about. If you’re looking for exceptional Italian cuisine with a modern twist, this is the place to be.

   After coming here since they opened, I still enjoy it. I always look forward to changes to the menu and revisiting their classic entrees. One of the best restaurants in California.

   We started 2025 off at our favorite place in LA. It never disappoints. We had all our favorite fish and seafood this time: scallops, shrimp, clams and mussels, and branzino. Our friend was apparently into Gorgonzola and ordered a salad and pizza with the cheese. I thought I’d hate it. I did not. Even my less favorite ingredients taste great at Bestia. The highlight was the Somm. Two of us wanted to start with a white by the glass. He brought at least 6 wines to try. This made the experience fun and special. The pace was just right. Happy new year.    Todo lo que pedimos de comer nos encantó, la carne tártara, la ensalada César y la de endivias, la pizza de Nduja, las pastas. También probamos un spread de ricotta y la pizza de burrata, Que están ricas pero no espectaculares como el resto de lo que probamos. Comimos un postre que era como de helado con galleta que nos encantó, igual la coctelería.

   The food quality is consistent and outstanding. We have been to bestia multiple times and I am impressed at how they maintain the same standard and consistency. We had the Caesar salad, mussels and spinach tagliatelle. All three dishes were made to perfection. Would highly recommend their fuyu permisson ricotta tart dessert- not too sweet and to me the perfect end to an outstanding meal. My only quibble is that their prices have gone up substantially which makes this a place for only very special occasions.

   Everything was outstanding besides the fact that they forgot my partners dish and instead of apologizing and offering to comp it and bring it out they asked if we wanted to put it in and I wait 10 min for it.

    We could only secure a reservation for counter space and they sat us in the worst seats, right next to the walkway from the kitchen. It was really busy with servers walking back and forth right next to us. We saw 3 empty two tops outside when we arrived and asked if we could move but they were apparently reserved. When we left 1 hr later, they were still empty. It look at least 15 min before our server came to take our order. It was 8:30 pm and they ran out of the squid ink pasta by the time she took our order. We were celebrating my birthday and the only thing they did was stick a candle on our dessert. Food was good (not great) but not worth the price and extremely busy ambiance.
