I was excited to try this place; however, I was disappointed with the Restaurant Week menu. The app and dessert courses were great. The main was very disappointing, especially for the price. I ordered the porchetta and it was served chopped up with nothing else. It was perhaps an app portion. I would have at least expected it on a sandwich. I left regretting I ordered this and wished I opted for the lasagna. Also, my server was a bit awkward. Needless to say, I believe the money I spent was not worth what I got.

Excellent! The porchetta is soooo delicious. Everything was really good, the gnocchi in pesto sauce, the lasagna, the roasted chicken, meatballs and tiramisu. Place was packed on a rainy Sunday night. We will definitely do the chef’s tasting menu next time. Price is super reasonable. Wine selection is awesome. Service is top notch. Definitely a great dining experience.

We found the food to be not hot enough. We were hungry and so decided not to come in on it. The $7 glass of wine is okay but a very small amount. Our waiter Johnny was great

What a wonderful dinner we had and so glad we chose the chef’s selection. There were so many delicious offerings included and more than enough food (including dessert) for three people. You can’t go wrong here!

This was our first time. We were a party of 5 and ate at the far end of the communal table which was lovely. First, the good: The food was delicious, we were able to try many things: arancini & potato croquettes (each piece big enough for 2-3 people) and the fennel & orange salad. We also had the porchetta, and the specials of gnocchi (one with ragu, and one with pesto) and a big ribeye steak + sides of Brussels sprouts and double cooked potatoes. All well prepared, fresh, and hot (when required) to the table. However, the pacing of the entrees was really off. The first dishes came out, then the sides ~10 minutes later, followed by the gnocchi, and the steak about 20 minutes after the first serving. Our waiter Johnny was a delight. Very attentive and apologetic. Worth another visit for sure.

Thank you Jennifer for the honest review! We did drop the ball last night on timing with you table. We are working with our kitchen and serving staff with how to prioritize tickets moving forward because when we first opened, everything was served family style and now we are moving to a more traditional dining service while still staying true to our food and flavors. I will bring this to the attention of our chef to ensure timing gets better moving forward for parties that order individual dishes, as I can see how this couple be not ideal when it comes to a seated dinner. A great addition to Clement St. Modern trattoria with very authentic Italian food. A wonderful server, Caroline. Nice wine list. One of the best lasagne bolognese in the City. And the incomparable porchetta!!! Bravisimo
