Review summary

AI-generated from verified diner reviews
Bianca offers an open and energetic atmosphere with attentive staff, perfect for casual dining. Their "wood grilled chicken" and "tuna tartare" are standout dishes. The menu, though varied, could expand, particularly for gluten-free options. The ambiance, bolstered by "great food, great service, great atmosphere," makes it a neighborhood favorite despite some inconsistency in service and pricing concerns.

It was our first visit and we were excited to try a new place... our food and service was not great. We ordered the wood grilled cauliflower appetizer and the spinach & artichoke appetizer, then for mains a Caesar Salad and Freebird Wood Rotisserie Half Chicken with a side of french fries. A half hour after placing our order the main Chicken entree arrived, with no french fries, a few minutes after that the Grilled Cauliflower appetizer came out, we had to flag down our waitress to ask for the french fries, to simply eat them with the main. The Artichoke appetizer arrived out, barley warm long after the chicken dinner. Finally after my husband was more or less done with his rotisserie chicken dinner the french fries came out. After we were done with the food that did come out, over an hour after placing our order I requested to cancel the Caeser Salad order because I was not going to simply eat my main alone when my husband was done with his. Shortly before asking for our check the Caeser salad arrived to which we declined, they offered it to us to go but we left it for the waitress. The food was ok, service was not great, no one checking in on how the food was never mind the complete lack of proper timing of what we ordered. Its a shame, maybe just an off night.

Nice place, but did not think it was worth a $26 chicken parm with no pasta/side included.

Ate at Bianca's before a Boston College hockey game. The space is open and energetic, and we were sat right on time with our reservation. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We ordered cocktails, which were well prepared. I had an old fashioned, and it came out relatively quickly and tasted great. We also ordered some appetizers and pizzas to share. The tuna tartare was amazing. It had a sauce that was somewhat acidic and paired really welly with the fish. We also had a fried chicken appetizer which had a really light and crisp breading that was well seasoned. It was not oily at all. To share, we got two pizzas which are cooked in wood stove with a chewy crust. The sauce, cheese, and toppings were all fantastic and, again, very high quality meal. Overally, I had zero complaints. The staff kept checking in on us on a regular basis, the drinks were great, we never felt rushed, and had a great experience.

Food Was quite good. I was aggravated they tried To out me in a back table where the lighting felt like A Night game at Fenway. After fellow caring to The bar ( not by Choice ) I had very good appetizers. But chased down service people who We’re talking to each other while dirty dishes were In Front of us at the bar. Pay attention ,take notice - details change dirty silverware ,fill water up. In fairness the bar staff was quite Pleasant This is a management issue and perpetuated by all restaurants Otherwise I did Enjoy the food. Oh , it’s a Challenge to eat when you are Gluten free. More options would help

Service good but I would not come back here. The food was not good. The pasta was supposed to be homemade but the penne pasta tasted artificial which is the only way I can describe it. It was slippery if that makes any sense. Box pasta would have tasted better. The pizza was also not so great. It was so soggy that you had to eat with a fork and knife. Sorry I wanted to like it but just not worth it.
