   Outside seating on a pleasant night. Service was excellent, Food preparation was perfect.

   Happy Hour beer seems overpriced but, the dark beer tasted great! The chicken puff pie and the ribs were great too! Waitpeople were attentive. Go for the food!

   Able to make a reservation on Open table makes it a big difference in us coming back

   The food was outstanding as always. Service was non-existent. The waitress visited our table solely to take our order and deliver the check. I had to flag down other servers to get drink refills.

   Arrived a bit early for our 4:45 pm reservation, but we were promptly seated. Our waiter Gabe was attentive and service was good. We ordered the prime rib, which came at the temperature we ordered, sides and dessert were also outstanding. Even though I mentioned at the time of reservation that it was our anniversary, no mention at the restaurant was made by anyone. Would have expected some sort of acknowledgement.

   Have been to Big Bear many times but this time it was so disappointing. Service was very slow and server seemed uninterested. Food was mediocre. Took my grandson for his birthday and was told they don’t offer any treats for birthdays any longer. Nevertheless I won’t be back.

   The only disappointing thing was the lava cake. Cooked a little too much so wasn’t perfect.

    Big Bear is one of my favorite restaurants. I love their food and atmosphere. I wish there were more places like it!
