   I love going to Bill’s for a late brunch on lazy weekends, but it’s frustrating that I can’t get scrambled eggs on toast anymore. Twice now, the kitchen hasn’t been able to make it, which seems odd for such a simple dish. I ordered something else instead, but apart from that, the place is great, and the staff is always friendly.

   As usual staff were amazing, the service is always great. Unfortunately the food quality wasn’t good the last few times we have been. I hope they get a better chef soon.

   The menu had changed and the item we went in for (steak frites) was now only on the fixed price menu. We were not allowed to "mix" items across the menus, so we could not order the complete meal we were after. It was disappointing.

   We had an absolutely wonderful breakfast with great atmosphere and wonderful employees. I highly recommend this restaurant.

   A great night celebrating an early birthday for me! We were met with such friendly and kind staff, fabulous food and a treat of a bottle of fizz and a yummy dessert as a celebration on Bill’s. we always find the ambience great and it is our favourite restaurant in Newbury. We will be back again very soon!

   As always, food was on point, service was polite and attentive (considering it was v busy), and not rushed either. Always a pleasure..

    Warm welcome received pre booking request noted and given choice of table. Waitress friendly professional and provided excellent service. I mentioned a couple would be joining us for a drink later she reserved the table next to us. Voucher for free bottle of prosecco honoured and birthday desert a total surprise.
