Every Bill Granger’s restaurant reflects the spirit we like to think of as ‘Australian’: sunny, easy-going and generous.

Bill opened his first restaurant in Sydney’s Darlinghurst in 1993. It soon became loved for its legendary breakfasts, served at the famous central communal table, where locals and travellers, families and friends, continue to be welcomed. Thirty years later, Bill’s relaxed, friendly and infectious joy in good, fresh food has become truly global, and is enjoyed at his restaurants in Sydney, Seoul, Tokyo and London.

Loved the ricotta pancakes and Charles was his usual charming, courteous and efficient self - a study for anyone wanting to see front of house attitude and how service should be done. Wayne and Rosalind Ihaka

Bill’s food is consistently high quality but portions are smaller. Service at Darlinghurst is now bordering on rude - I have been a consistent customer for 6 years and my recent experience was the worst. Slow, then pushy (asked to vacate a booked table (we had the booking!) with no assistance to move to another spot. So disappointing.

Tried your brand in Japan , Korea and Sydney. Appreciated the menu is flexible to change option without extra cost, this is unavailable in Japan and Korea. The pancake still incredibly delicious. Your Japanese female staff conducted great customer service during the meal. Great experience with your brand.

My parents came to visit from london and loved bills- always amazing food and super friendly and attentive service❤️

We made a booking at 11am so when we entered the restaurant the waitress didnt say hi or anything but said “you need to wait outside and line up”. I said i made a booking and then shes like oh and took us to the table. We waited like 20mins to get some table water and get served. The food was great but the service was so so.

平日の7時30分に予約して行きました。とてもかわいい、お洒落な、明るい、思った以上に小さなレストランでした。料理は定番のフルオージーとリコッタパンケーキ&バナナ等をいただきましたが、とても美味しく、スタッフも気さくで、素晴らしい経験でした。日本にあるbillsより、混んでないしこじんまりしていて雰囲気も良いと思います。

Service was quite efficient and wait times were not long to be served. Food was quite abundant. The eggs might’ve had too much butter in them, and water could’ve been refilled a bit more other than that excellent dining experience would return.

Best coffee I had in three days in Sydney. Food and service was great. Only letdown was the noise level. I found it hard to hear my companions across the table.

We made a booking for 4, were sat at the door so I got hit in the back every time the door opened. It took 15 minutes to order, we got our food but still no coffees after another 25minutes. We asked for the coffees but they didn't know we had ordered them, we then waited another 15minutes for our coffees which they kindly gave to us for free. The staff were all over the place, not looking at the tables at all and not working the tables as I would have expected. We were never asked if we wanted another coffee. On top of this the staff sat a lovely couple with a screaming baby right next to us in a high chair which could have been placed on the other side of their table. I have always loved bills but this was next level disappointing.
