I went for my birthday and asked what special occasion I was there for and I said my birthday, I was expecting a birthday slice of cake or dessert like any other restaurant does but nope, nothing. The waiter wasn't good at getting refills, and I got one refill after I had already almost finished my meal. So, the experience was mediocre

The view is absolutely beautiful and the staff was nice however, they had a live singer and it was just too loud! And the food was not great. Absolutely ZERO seasoning. I'd never seen a paler looking ribeye steak! Garlic mashed potatoes that tasted like the chef forgot the garlic! The brussels sprouts were the only thing on the plate that tasted like there was SOME seasoning.. not a lot, but some. Yeah sorry 0/10 recommend. It's a no for me

First time dining. The staff addressed special request and provided an atmosphere to where I felt we were the only ones there.

My wife and I went for Valentines. It was the first time to the restaurant. Beautiful views, food was great! The only negative was that the tables were too close, but it was Valentines Day. Beer prices were lower than we expected for a wonderful place. We will definitely return

Let me start out by saying I’m sure everyone will have different experiences here and I’m sure some people’s experience here was perfect. This was mine. I’ll keep it short. Great food, subpar drinks, and our server seemed disingenuous and inconvenienced. Heard great things about this place. Had high expectations but unfortunately they were not met. I would dine here again, hopefully with a different server. I recommend the bacon wrapped quail!

Was too windy so the outside patio was closed which was unfortunate, so we had to sit inside. Could still see the sunset and if it was open, would’ve been great. Indoor dining was average as it felt somewhat like a hotel restaurant in terms of lighting and seating. Had live music and the singer was a nice touch, food was good although not great, but their drinks were very good. Service was somewhat slow as we waited a good 20 minutes after our appetizer to order our main, but overall at around $150(incl tip), I found a couple of drinks, an appetizer and 2 mains to be a pretty good value these days. Would return, but would have to sit outside for sure as there are other indoor options I would choose.

If you haven’t experienced branch & bird, I would recommend it. The rooftop view was the number one reason why we went and it did not disappoint. The food was seasoned well but don’t expect the quality to be top-notch. It was just right for the place. The servers were kind and approachable but we came at a busy time so we didn’t see them often while we were waiting for the food or while we had our food. But we were still taken care of. Make sure to schedule a reservation beforehand and choose outdoor seating. We will go again when they have live music and during happy hour. For a few more details — Before we went, we checked what time the sun would go down and scheduled our reservation around it. We went on a Friday about 15 minutes before the sunset and it was beautiful seeing it over the city. We stayed for a little over 1 hour. The parking was very easy which you can easily find on the street with the meters. Parking is free after 6pm, by the way. The building that is in is beautiful and modern. To get to the restaurant, you’ll have to press the screen next to the elevators of where you’re going and it’ll assign you which elevator to go to. Once you get up to branch & bird, you’ll check-in with the hostess who are very approachable and they’ll seat you. We ordered the ceviche tostada, steak & chimichurri flatbread and the chicken capellini pasta, and shared between two people. I enjoyed how each of them tasted. My favorite was the ceviche tostada. The experience was under $100 for us.
