   Good food, good value, close to the theater, good parking, good service, ambiance is always well cared for. Its not clanking, loud or lumbering with overzealousness. The live music is always soft and just in the background. It is a good place for a date, or before/after a show in the theater district.

   It was super crowded, and we had a shoe at the Alley Theater to attend, but we were seated only a few minutes after our reservation. Our waiter was excellent and as we left he overheard my wife wishing her friend Happy Birthday. Of course, the waiter invited us back after the show for desserts. We came back after and it was just great. We had desserts, and cocktails. We loved the waitress who came and danced for just a few seconds with our wives to the live music. Lots of fun! Make your reservations early, give yourself some time to enjoy before your show.

   Food was good but we never got any garlic bread and they did not take plates or come to fill water quickly. However, we were going to a show and the food came out fast.

   Disappointed is the best statement for the hostess, customer service. We had reservations for a bar high top, as it is an option when making a reservations. They however seated us at a low top in the back of the restaurant next to a drafty door on a cold evening. When we mentioned it to the hostess seating us, she responded with a lackluster ‘oh’ and directed us to one of the worst tables in the place. When I can make a reservation for a specific type of seating I expect it to be available or the staff to, at very least, work to remedy the issue. Again Disappointing. Our server was great and very friendly.

   We went here before a recent symphony event and it was amazing . I made the reservation several weeks before the show and using open table for the reservation was great. When we arrived everyone was friendly and professional. We were sat and our server appeared shortly after after. The atmosphere is great and the food was amazing. Everyone who came to our table table were personable and polite and knowledgeable about the food. I had the pork chops with linguine and green beans. They were cooked perfectly and tender. My husband had the linguine and clam sauce which he said was also amazing. The tiramisu was to die for. I also had the lemon drop martini and if you love a good martini, this place knows how to make it. I encourage people to go there especially before the symphony. The location is such you can walk in 3 minutes. Overall very happy with this restaurant and we will be back

   Went during lunch and not very busy. The ambience is very good pleasant in a cozy dining environment. They have a nice menu. I enjoyed the chicken milanés from the lunch menu. It was very nicely seasoned served with creamy mashed potatoes. Service was good. Parking is not so great. No valet that I could see. Parked in the garage next door but cost around $13 for a two hour visit.

   We booked reservations here before we saw West Side Story at Wortham due to proximity and nostalgia. Neither myself, spouse or sister had eaten here since high school! Needless to say Peter our server was a consummate host, making excellent recommendations and advising of my allergy options (even knowing the difference between food allergy and intolerance). However Mario, who brought out our food and waters was OUTSTANDING! His genuine concern, attention to details, and friendly complimentary disposition truly made our meal special. He should DEFINITELY be customer facing in this restaurant and displayed a level of hospitality rarely found (As I myself travel 80% for work and experience hundreds of restaurants across the country on a regular basis). Thank you for keeping the flavors, fun, and friendliness alive and well Birraporettis! Our trip down memory lane did not disappoint, it was a delight 😁

   Food was awesome and Service from Paco was outstanding even if part of the order was delayed! It definitely was an experience we enjoyed and want to repeat in the next opportunity!

    Birraporetti's was an excellent choice for us! Its location was perfect for us to eat and then scoot across the street to the Houston Opera to see our show. The food was awesome, very tasty and healthy portions. The service was good - as the restaurant got crowded, we, of course, didn't see our waitress too much. Seemed like they might have been short-staffed, which we understood. Our waitress was friendly and kind and offered good options. All in all, we recommend Birraporetti's to anyone, especially to anyone attended a performance across the street. Kudos to the management and staff at Birraporetti's for offering such amazing food choices in a very nice atmosphere.
