Here is the background on the makeup of our Restaurant.The Bistro was born in September of 2002. Owned and operated by Declan Hoctor, Executive Chef: Paul Hughes, and John & Angela O’Sullivan of Roly’s Bistro of Dublin (Ireland). Our Fare is American with a European flair. Executive Chef, Paul Hughes trained in the Savoy Hotel in London for 9 years as well as Roly’s Bistro in Dublin, two of the most respected hostelries in Europe. Roly’s in Dublin was voted Restaurant of the year for 2010, also voted Chef of the year. Our team of Chef’s has won numerous competitions, and awards representing restaurant & country for their creative and inventive food. We love what we do! Just remember!

    Wonderful dinner to celebrate our Anniversary. Service was friendly, helpful and respectful. The duck egg rolls were fantastic as an appetizer and the snapper wrapped in paper as well as the lamb shank were amazing. We even had a chocolate soufflé that was decorated to celebrate our special Anniversary.

    This was our first visit to Bistro we loved our meal and the service was impeccable. Our waitress Edith was attentive, pleasant and a pleasure. We will definitely be back.

    We had the greatest dinner at the Bistro last evening. The lamb chops, the tuna and fish and chips were excellent. We are never disappointed and have been going there for many years. We had a slight “glitch” a couple of weeks ago but the owner Declan, made it right. You can’t beat the ambience, the food, and of course, the chocolate soufflé! It was an enjoyable evening and we will be back very soon!

    Very busy that Sat night. Having been there many times previously I should have picked a weeknight NOT in high season. They did as well as could be expected.

    service was good, My sole was very good. Asked for almonds on the sole, never arrived. Surprised by the $3 charge to split a salad. The soufflé was terrible, overwhelmed with too much dough. We have been a frequent dinner over the years, First time back this year,. It’s just not the same. Bob

    Our first visit here, Valentines Evening. Beautiful restaurant, patio setting was perfect. Great ambiance & very good service. All was excellent except the main reason we came , the steaks. I believe , it being so busy, the meat wasn’t seasoned. Very bland taste of the steak on my wife’s Surf n Turf, the same with my Beef Wellington. I’m sure it was a mistake due to the crowd at this restaurant. Better luck next visit.
