Here is the background on the makeup of our Restaurant.The Bistro was born in September of 2002. Owned and operated by Declan Hoctor, Executive Chef: Paul Hughes, and John & Angela O’Sullivan of Roly’s Bistro of Dublin (Ireland). Our Fare is American with a European flair. Executive Chef, Paul Hughes trained in the Savoy Hotel in London for 9 years as well as Roly’s Bistro in Dublin, two of the most respected hostelries in Europe. Roly’s in Dublin was voted Restaurant of the year for 2010, also voted Chef of the year. Our team of Chef’s has won numerous competitions, and awards representing restaurant & country for their creative and inventive food. We love what we do! Just remember!

    We had a 7pm reservation on Thanksgiving. When we arrived and checked in at the hostess stand we were advised it would be about a 15 minute wait and the hostess suggested we could sit at the outdoor bar. We took seats there and the bartender was delightful. The hostess checked on us, at the bar, after about 10 minutes and advised she had 3 more parties to sit before us. When we hadn't been seated by 7:50 we elected to eat at the bar. The hostess never came back for us. My food was marginal, mushroom soup that was more like a mushroom puree and a solid portion of lamb chops served at room temperature with no color on them that were sat up on the same gravy being used for turkey and prime rib. My partner has better luck with his salad and ravioli. Through it all, the bartender, Kristen, was wonderful. I did speak with the manager at the end of our meal to alert him to the fact that the hostess basically forgot us and that the bartender was exceptional. He apologized and comped us dessert.

    Food was very bad. Cold desserts straight from the fridge, undercooked meat, beggars food. Not worth the price.

    It wouldn’t be fair to judge a restaurant on Thanksgiving. We intend to visit again as it appears to be a very good place.

    I've been to this establishment many times. Every time it pleases our pallets. They know how to pull off Thanksgiving without a hitch. Food is very good, service is impeccable. Hats off to our server, Vinny and the best bartender in Palm Beach County, Andrew.

    This is our 5th year attending a Thanksgiving lunch. It is a special event & was today as well. The ambience outside remains lovely. I gave 3 stars for the food because our main course was turkey which was a bit dry. The vegetables could have been cooked a little more we thought. We all had the spring salad which was delicious, & the warm buns with the pate also very good. The desserts were superb! Our server was animated & helpful. She did seem to get flustered over trying to divide our bill. But perhaps it was complicated & she was busy. It also seemed to take awhile today but it was nice not to be rushed. Today remains a favorite day & we will return next time for sure!

    Our waitress Edith was phenomenal. Super friendly and went out of her way to make sure everything we asked for was exactly as it should be. I only disappointment was the noise level at the outside bar and the smell of cigar smoke We made a note to ask for indoor dining next time we visit 👍🏻

    Go for salads and desserts. The appetizers are not that great. We were given stale crackers with our fried brie. Our tempura soft crab lacked seasoning. Couldn't eat it ...it tastes like fish guts. Gross! The souffle desserts are amazing!!!

    Apologies for the crackers, that is a first. Re the Soft Shell, it is mildly seasoned, these days a lot of people are very salt conscious so we never like to do too much. The Crab is served in its complete form, its definitely the entire crab, not sure if you knew that its served that way, but a wildly popular dish when in season. Season is just winding down now. Souffles are for sure a must, they have been our signature dessert for 23 years. I have already passed on your comments to Chef. I feel sure with our extensive menu, there are many dishes that will explain our 4.9 rating on Open Table and our 100% recommendation rate
