   45 minutes from seating to get pellegrino and order our food. I waited 20 minutes from getting the check to then get up from my seat to ask the hostess and the manager to pay but no one could help. Worst service ever. The table that was seated as we left were greeted, got their cocktails and ordered their food within the first 10 minutes.

   The meal that we had was exceptional. David, our server was very attentive. The entire environment was so inviting with the beautiful view of the St. Lawrence river. We can give Sam bistro the highest recommendation possible. A great experience!

   Overall, the food was good and quite affordable considering it is inside the world famous Chateau Frontenac. There was a receptionist named Hugo who is helpful since I am currently on wheelchair. He’s the one who assisted us through the wheelchair ramp, and when we are about to leave he asked if the ramp was returned so that I can exit the restaurant premises with ease.

   Coming from a local : don’t waste your money and go somewhere else. The food was wayyyyyy overpriced, to salty and nothing special. We had an uncomfortable table and a cold breeze on us all night. The service was at most decent. I’ll never go back.

   Just amazing, the staff, the food, the drinks, the ambience, perfect all round... no need to get dressed up just nice casual is fine...book in advance though, it fills quickly

   C’est agréable de manger ou de prendre un verre au Sam. La nourriture est très bonne et bien présentée .Le menu pourrait être plus grand . Notre serveur était pressé et sans sourire , pas intentionné , pas accueillant,pourtant nous sommes le 23 decembre, et compte tenu de l’addition qui très élevée, il a reçu un pourboire de 15 % qu’il n’a pas mérité .

    Excellent expérience, as an extra pleasure- I asked for a dessert and got it for free as a birthday gift. A small touch of attention, but made it feel special
