   Bj's Pizza is always a good time. I've been to 4 different location from Sacramento, Mission Viejo, Cerritos, Oxnard and always had great service, food and killer beer. Never a bad time.

   Our waiter seemed overwhelmed with the tables he had also when he was relieved on break the young lady who took over she seemed unorganized as well.My appetizers and salad came out with our meal which the appetizers were cold which means they had been sitting for a while I’m only assuming. Also this restaurant has a bad habit of not providing utensils there always missing when your food arrives. I love the restaurant but this location lacks effort and organization.

   The waiters and waitresses were amazing!! The only problem was that the restaurant was so packed. All of our food came out lukewarm :/

   It took a long time for someone to come to our table and greet us. Then it took even longer to get our drinks and appetizer. I ordered the shrimp scampi pasta. The shrimp was chewy and cold.

   Had a reservation and the host still made us wait 30 mins for a table. After the 30 mins, we went to to check up on our table again and the host said it might be a little more that there were parties in front of us. How do we have reservations and still have parties in front of us? So the host told us to just wait until we got a text and gave us no estimated time. After about another 30 mins, (1 hour total) they finally called us but service was very disorganized and disappointing. I have never had to wait more than 20 minutes MAX for a reservation made ahead of time

   I understand staffing on a payday weekend, but I got my food 15 minutes before the rest of the table. My culture teaches us not to eat until everyone, especially the women and kids have their food. I felt compelled to share my burger and fries with my family until their food came. By the time their meal came, I wanted to order another meal. Unfortunately, I didn't have the funds to pay for another one.

   My reservation service with opentable was perfect. We only waited for 15 minutes despite the normal 30+ minute wait if I didn’t use opentable. If you don’t mind waiting between service waiters checking on you, then BJ’s Cerritos is the place to go. I saw my waiter 35 minutes between checks. Yes I realized the restaurant was busy on a Sunday night. So if you don’t mind waiting for your waiter or waitress to get refills or even just for the final check, or if you don’t mind spending about 3hours+ for dinner service, then BJ’s Cerritos is the restaurant for you. My reservation was at 5pm. Got a booth at 5:15pm, after waiting to get the bill and the final receipt. Me and my party left the restaurant at 8:57pm. Usually when I’m at a restaurant that long it’s because it’s a formal dining restaurant. BJ’s is a casual restaurant. I even noticed some guests who got seated before me were still waiting for their waiter/ waitress for their checks. It’s been years since I’ve been here. This will be my final visit to this location.

    We had made a reservation at 7 o’clock, and had to wait almost 35 minutes to get sat. Our server finally came to the table and got everyone’s order. Two of the guests got soup, bread, bowls, but we’re never asked if they wanted it as an appetizer or entrée so the server brought the food out as an appetizer. One guest ordered a Mojito drink and never received it the entire three hours we were there. A mini pizza was ordered and the inside was completely raw. The manager did give us a free Pazooki’s but the cinnamon roll Pazooki was burnt on the top and raw in the inside, and our flight of Pazooki’s were all burnt. When I visit from Idaho, I like to go to restaurants that bring me nostalgia, but I definitely will not be coming back to BJ’s restaurant. Everything about that night was completely awful.
