Staff seemed to be overwhelmed with the crowd. We had a reservation and checked in 10 minutes early but had to wait 20 minutes to be seated. Appetizer was late to arrive and food was served before appetizer. Food was not properly prepared the way we had it many times before. However, our server was great and did her best to serve us.

We went to BJs for a nice dinner to celebrate our wedding anniversary with our son, his wife, and their friend. We had a great dinner since each had variety to chose from. We wanted to top it off with a Pizzouki (the Halloween version) and that was a great way to celebrate. I also had one of their house beers. We enjoyed the time there.

We were seated on the patio. The first 2 tables we looked at were dirty and there was litter on the bench seats. Seemed like they didn't clean up from last night. Food was good. It was nice that we could sit for a couple of hours and catch up with old friends. After we got the check the waiter disappeared. We all ran out of water. Maybe he thought his job was done. Not quite. I like the Rancho Santa Margarita BJ's better than the one in Laguna Hills.

The bbq wings were drenched in sauce—not in a good way. Service is hit or miss. You’re better off sitting in the bar area if you want the servers to pay attention to you

Once seated, the service was excellent. The front desk continues to be unorganized and the restaurant is in serious need of remodeling.

Waited for table even after reservation for 20 mins. Waiter took a long time to take our orders and food came almost one hour after checkin. Definitely not a place for lunch time food Food was ok. Ribs felt as if they were cooked long before and reheated to serve .

I booked the venue about 3 hours before we dined. BJs always has good food and last night was also great
