Had a beautiful meal with the family on NYE, 5 adults all ordered a different dish and not one of them disappointed. The service is great, drinks were good and not rip off prices

Always a good experience in the Black Bull Inn. Friendly and excellent service. Any routine issues corrected with no fuss. Great food and excellent mojitos!

Four of us had lunch today unfortunately only a Christmas menu which was limited and no fish courses available though listed on the menu. The burger and chips came out on a very small rectangular plate with a very small little tin of chips which cost 21.50 not even a little salad with it. I complained to the server about the portion size and she brought another tin of chips out. The curry came up with underdone hard rice and reluctantly had to be sent back. Also it stated on the menu that it came with mango chutney but there wasn't any. Another thing I noticed there was a blackboard with prices for wine and the pinot gricio was 8e a glass yet I was charged 9e. It's a while since we'd been to the blackbull as our last time there wasn't great and we'd heard that things had improved but unfortunately they haven't. We were waiting a long time for our meal yet others who came in after us were served before us. Not a great experience unfortunately.

Lovely meal and a nice feel about the place. The lighting was a little too dim for our liking as it was difficult to see our food, but overall, a really nice ambience. Waitress was polite and helpful, and the food was so tasty. Perfect for a few cocktails and a girly catch-up or a celebratory meal.
