Went there for "date night" with my wife last night. Was surprised we got a reservation with only 2 hrs notice. The parking lot was packed so that was a good sign that people were going there and that the last minute reservation wasn't because of it being unpopular. I hadn't been to the restaurant in like 7 years and noticed the inside had changed, and all for the better. The food, drinks and service were good. It was a bit loud, but I guess that's expected for the place being packed. We liked the idea of the cigar bar / lounge for after dinner. But when we went down, it was a bit smoky for our liking, but expected. We decided to have another drink and dessert at the bar upstairs and that was equally enjoyable. All in all, we'd definitely go again. It is pricey, but what steakhouse these days aren't? It won't be our regular date night destination, but we were both very happy and satisfied with our night out at Black Bull.

I have eaten here numerous times with friends. We always have a great time. The food is always good. They do a better job with their steak than they do with their fish. Prices have gone up steadily, but then again they have everywhere. Be prepared to pay cash to save the credit card surcharge

Ordered the lamb chops medium rare. Although taste was good, they became well done after being served on a sizzling hot plate.

This was our first visit to the Black Bull. From the greeting by the manager to the service everything was perfect. The seafood and the steaks were cooked to perfection. After dinner the manager gave us a tour of the restaurant. From quiet dinner for two to large parties in private rooms, this place is phenomenal. Another great place to add to your list!!!

We celebrated my husbands birthday here and although we have been there many times just the two of us, this time we brought along our 2 1/2 year old. I was a little nervous as it is a steakhouse and we have gone to others before where we got looks for bringing our daughter, but this was the exact opposite. The staff was unbelievably accommodating and our waiter extremely attentive . When he realized I was pregnant he even seared some pieces of our shared tomahawk steak a little longer for me. Food is always good and we truly had a great night out as a family

This was a convenient choice for me and a friend. A little weird that at 6pm on a Thursday night, the restaurant was totally empty. We were there until 8pm, and it didn't get much more crowded. Food and service were good.

been there many times, the NY strip is the best in the area, great service and very enjoyable Saturday evening.

Sat at the bar and ordered a few appetizers to share. Baked clams, hot antipasto, mini crab cake sliders. (they had no issue putting the bacon on the side). The lobster mac and cheese was great! Everyone who worked there was very friendly and welcoming. The manager mentioned a Halloween party, and I think we will have to attend!! The owner was also very nice. This is definitely one of my favorite local spots. They did a beautiful job inside and out. There is always a different space/room to check out
