   Best NYE night had in Brisbane. Elegant, classy and cleanliness and the busiest night of the year was beautifully executed… Great atmosphere- second to none location in Brisvegas!

   It was a good meal and staff friendly. Great location. Read the wine menu carefully when selecting per glass or per bottle to avoid confusion. Overall great experience for New Year’s Eve with deck location only for dinners. Would highly recommend!

   To start we ordered the foccacia and the short ribs. The focaccia was thick and brick hard. This recipe needs to be modified or canned. Just do a fresh bun with some salted cultured butter! It was not enjoyable at all. Short Rib was tender, but lacked depth of flavour. No tables in the restaurant had salt and pepper on them. Very Odd. Would've helped the short ribs - and staff didn't offer any tableside! For mains we ordered the marble score 5 rib fillet! For $98 a piece, it was not tender, the sinue was grissly, not melt in your mouth quality we were expecting for the price. We were not offerred any mustards, and the tables beside us were. The ambiance is lovely - the staff are lovely. We were skeptical after reading hit and miss reviews, and after teying for ourselves - the $380ish bill was a miss! Sad the quality from Treasury was not carried over. Gambaro - please fix this, and bring back our favourite steakhouse!

   Red wine jus is not Vegemite. Never send the waiter which did a good job until that incident to cover the chef’s incompetence. To top it off I got a 500gram t bone which was about as thin as minute steak. I don’t like to pay a $400 bill for minute steak and Vegemite. Oysters were good though.

   Enjoyed a wonderful Christmas lunch at the newly opened Black Hide Queens Wharf. In short, the lunch we enjoyed was simply right up there as the very best. It wasn’t just the delicious food selection, and how it was cooked, or the impeccable service received, or the festive decorations, but the whole experience which truly captured the spirit of Christmas for us. From the second we entered, until the moment of leaving, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Even the Christmas carollers were wonderful touch!! Thank you very much to all the staff at Black Hide. Happy New Year, and you’ll definitely see us dining with you again.

   Very good food with a nice view! Staff a little bit inflexible… our table was not really stable and they weren’t able to fix it and just offered to move inside the restaurant (too cold for us). We fixed it ourselves 😀 Food was very good and big portions.

   Appreciate the fact that this restaurant is very, very new, However and considering it was Christmas Eve, the food was less than optimal for a fine dining location in the casino precinct.
